I can’t say enough wonderful things about Children’s Lighthouse Oak Point! From the moment we walked through the doors, we felt welcomed, supported, and completely at ease knowing our child was in such loving hands. The teachers go above and beyond to not only care for the kids, but to truly know them — their personalities, their needs, and their quirks.

Every day is full of fun, learning, and laughter. My child has grown so much — socially, emotionally, and academically — and comes home excited to tell us about their day. The staff communicates so well and always keeps us updated with photos, notes, and sweet little stories that brighten our day.

We are incredibly grateful for the warmth, structure, and joy this daycare brings into our lives. It truly feels like an extension of our family. Thank you for loving our child so well — we couldn’t imagine a better...

My daughter loves it here! We’ve placed her in a few different daycares and this one is the BEST! We absolutely love the staff and the teachers are amazing! We have been at lighthouse in oak point for nearly two years. Having come from another lighthouse, this one is a breath of fresh air. The teachers miss shanta, miss sutapa (room 8), miss allison, miss yaya, and miss cici (room 9) are absolutely fantastic. Our daughter has absolutely flourished under their care and we haven’t regretted our decision for one moment. Tonight she graduated from APK, what a wonderful experience! Our daughter will go into kinder reading, writing, simple addition and subtraction and even understanding fractions. She absolutely loves science and has enjoyed learning a little bit of Spanish and sign language! If you are trying to decide which school to go to, you cannot strike out with Oakpoint Children’s Lighthouse!

Leaving our beloved daycare feels incredibly bittersweet. Both of my sons had the privilege of growing up in this nurturing, loving environment—one starting at just 3 months old and the other shortly after turning one. From the very beginning, the staff made the transition from having a nanny at home feel seamless. I was so nervous about placing my children in someone else’s care, but the hands-on attention, warmth, and communication gave me complete peace of mind.

The teachers and staff have truly become an extension of our family. Their care goes beyond just watching the kids—they are intentional, patient, and genuinely invested in each child’s growth. I’ve watched my boys flourish emotionally, socially, and academically thanks to their guidance.

My daughter has attended Oak Point Children’s Lighthouse for over 6 years. It’s been a great experience for her as well as my husband and I. She loves waking up every weekday morning excited to see her teachers and fellow classmates. She’s built quite the relationship with both. The front office is prompt and always follows the correct protocol in any incident. Our child has been safe through this pandemic. Our son who attends Oak Point Elementary does participate in the before and after school care offered during the academic school year. He enjoys the childcare the the setting that facility offers. The Flintroy family highly recommends Oak Point Children’s Lighthouse.

Been trusting this center with my children for 6 years. They do incredible in balancing the needs of families and staff in a challenging industry. Please consider them as a provider of choice and take any negative reviews with a grain of salt as salty people have to tell somebody about their feelings.
There is no perfect center, so you won’t find one. Instead, understand this place is just a group of imperfect people striving for excellence in child care everyday.

My daughter started at the facility at four months old and over three years later, I couldn’t have chosen a better childcare facility for her than Children’s Lighthouse - Oak Point! She loves going to school and learns so much. Every teacher she’s had has poured into her development and well-being and the administration is great! I know they all genuinely care about her and I truly believe my daughter’s development and growth are just as important to them as they are to me. Sending my daughter here was the absolute best decision!

I have been extremely happy with Children’s Lighthouse at Oak Point. My daughter has done so well in her transition to a new environment. The staff is so wonderful and caring. She loves her teachers, the daily activities & loves the school meals! I love the resources they have available to parents such as ProCare - the teachers actually use it, and I appreciate all the updates throughout the day. Katie and Heather have been so great to us, you can tell they take pride in what they do! Truly been such a great experience since the first day we walked in for a tour.

We are fortunate enough to have two kids that have been at Children's Lighthouse of Oak Point. We absolutely love it! The staff and management team are wonderful. Our son is learning so much and is always so happy to go to school. We are so grateful for the loving care he is receiving.
