Children's Lighthouse Kyle

We highly recommend Lighthouse of Kyle for your kiddos! We have had a great experience with all teachers and Ms. Megan has been such a joy! The facility is extremely clean and all staff are welcoming. Their securities features, precautions, and expectations for classes make me feel very comfortable to leave my child in their total responsibility!

My child loves Chidlren’s Lighthouse. The staff is caring and friendly. So glad that we found an after school program where I know my child is happy and safe at.

We've been at Lighthouse Kyle for over a month now, and are so thankful we made the move. The teachers, the office staff, the leaders, etc. - all wonderful, communicative, and have the best interest of our children front of mind. We really appreciate the structure of the classes, lesson plans, the experienced teachers and the day to day consistency. They have also played a huge role in potty training. All the other families with children enrolled have been kind and overall this has been a great experience. My children are well cared for, clean, happy, healthy and advancing in areas such as speech and interacting with other kids. Seriously, we couldn't be more pleased.

So far, it's been a wonderful experience. I really appreciate the staff, especially the ladies up front and our teacher, Mrs. Bree—she's been amazing. Ms. G has been fantastic as well. There has been some turnover in the last couple of months, but I'm hopeful that things will stabilize soon. One of my favorite things is being able to watch our little girl throughout the day and have lunch with her during the holidays.

My child started when they opened in April and it’s been a wonderful experience for us. We love the teachers and the staff. Any concerns we have brought up have been validated and addressed immediately. I’m an over anxious first time mom and I so appreciate the grace they give me. My son has been thriving there and we are so grateful!

We’ve tried a handful of daycares and Children’s Lighthouse is the best, by far!! My child is happy to go and happy when I pickup. Communication is great via app and emails, with frequent updates throughout the day! I truly feel like the entire staff loves my kiddo. We have been at Children’s Lighthouse since they opened and my son and our family could not be happier. My son is excited to go everyday and all of the teachers truly love and care about him as an individual. My son is thriving and we are grateful to all the staff, the owner, and Ms. Jana for all they do. We frequently check the cameras available throughout the day and he is always happy and we have never felt he was unsafe in any way. If you’re reading negative reviews I would recommend that you do your own personal research with people that send their kid there vs reading drama from trolls on social media.

We started with lighthouse in march and it has been the best experience. We had a nanny before coming into the daycare world and one of my biggest requirements was that it was a preschool based school rather than day care. When we toured this facility, I felt like all of my concerns were gone and my questions were answered properly. We started in the 3’s class and moved to the 4’s class. We will soon be moving to the 5’s. We have seen our daughter grow so much since being here. She talks so much, has learned to explain exactly what she wants, is learning how to count, learning to recognize shapes and colors and so much more. Although I work with her a lot at home, she spends 8 hours a day here and this has become a second home for us. "Clearing the Air"

I’d like to clarify a few things. Initially, I considered remaining anonymous, but I have no issue standing by my words.

My child currently attends this facility. Over the last couple months for about three consecutive weeks, I found myself signing incident reports nearly every day. These reports mostly described the same situation: another child hitting or pushing my child. I fully acknowledge that my child, like any other, isn't perfect, and I expected some social or behavioral challenges along the way. However, a pattern became clear, as 8 out of 10 times, my child mentioned the same name as the aggressor.

Since then, that particular child has been removed from the daycare, and I can finally feel at ease knowing I no longer have to sign incident reports for these recurring issues. It’s a relief knowing that the...

Children’s lighthouse is such an enriching and fun environment for my little one. He has learned so much already and loves his teachers. Ciara in the 3s and Jacklyn are great. He also loves all supporting staff and transitioned so well going into daycare . Mrs. Janna is also a gem ! We absolutely love our boys teachers. Ms G, Gabby, Taylor, Velma, Jaylynn, Veronica, Danielle, Patricia and Sierra. Thank you all for loving our babies! It has been so nice to see my oldest look forward to going just because I say his teachers names. I would give 4.5 stars due to how overwhelmed the teachers usually look sometimes; I wish I saw leadership step in more when they see a teacher may be overwhelmed or even "just because." There have been a few instances when I pick up or drop off my kiddos during the day and the front desk team is hanging out on the computer searching personal sites rather than helping in the classrooms when other teachers are at lunch. Its a team sport. Other than this, the over-communication has improved since they have opened and I really appreciate that!

Our experience at Children's Lighthouse has been nothing short of amazing. The teachers here are exceptional, always going above and beyond to challenge my daughter and enhance her knowledge (even to the extent of moving her up a class early because her current class curriculum was not challenging enough for her). Janna, the director, truly has my child's best interest in mind and ensures a nurturing and supportive environment. Morning drop off is always a breeze with smiling faces and good mornings from all of the staff we see.

The owner, Brad, runs a fantastic daycare that is well-organized, clean and safe. We have complete peace of mind knowing our daughter is in such capable hands. We started this daycare center from the beginning. Their communication is phenomenal. A number of their childcare workers followed the Director, Jana, from other centers she’s worked at over the years. I’ve been to daycares and know first hand, the leadership makes or breaks a childcare establishment. My kiddo loves being there and is excited to go to “camp” and “school” like her big sisters. My kiddo is never starving upon pick up, they feed her very well. The staff is always so attentive and accommodating. Could not ask for a better childcare establishment. Well worth every penny.

Prior to switching my boys (who are 1.5 and 2.5 years old) to CLH they were at a in home daycare with maybe 3 other kids. Once we did the transition it was like night and day, their speech improved dramatically, they have so many activities in the classrooms, lots of outside time, a great teaching curriculum. If you ever have any comments questions or concerns, Janna the director is quick to address them. Everyone here is super nice, and I know my boys are in good hands. They have a video chime in option to see your babies throughout the day for a small extra fee. If you are thinking of switching daycares or looking for a new place for your kiddo, this is it. We have been at the Children’s Lighthouse of Kyle since they opened earlier this year and have nothing but great things to say! Our experience here so far has been the absolute best, from communication to the curriculum. The teachers are always welcoming in the mornings with smiles on their faces, and we receive daily updates in the afternoons from each of the teachers when we pick up our children.

We have three children in three different classrooms, and our experience in each of these classrooms has been amazing. My kids are so eager to get to preschool in the mornings and, of course, are not ready to leave when it’s time for pick-up in the afternoon. The settings for all the classrooms are secure, safe, in perfect adult-to-child ratio. The classrooms have AMAZING learning materials that support culture, ethnic heritage and educational goals! The curriculum-based approach to the schedule undoubtedly promotes success for every child in that building. There is a noticeable difference in my son and my daughter’s intelligence, milestones and energy levels since starting with this program. My preschooler is always stimulated and excited to share all the fun activities he completed through the day (side note, I get activities sent home EVERYDAY, which is an absolute thrill). My toddler is never short of any hugs...

I love all the teachers that have interacted with my son. He is happy everyday. His needs are always met. I’m always informed. I am forever grateful for the tribe that this daycare has provided.

Jana, Hilda, and our teachers have all been so amazing to my sweet girl! I was so anxious to let her out of my sight but to say I feel so comfortable with her in their care would be an understatement. Jana never made me feel like I was asking too many questions during the tour and she assured my husband and I that our daughter would thrive. Our teachers have been so nurturing, loving, supportive, respectful and all around the best I could have asked for. We are so happy with this school and I can’t wait to see our child flourish as she grows! We found our home for the next 4 years!

Children’s Lighthouse Kyle has a great mixture of free play and structured lessons to help my toddler learn! We love being able to check the cameras to give us peace of mind that she is doing great! The teachers do a good job of helping my toddler learn to use the potty!
