Children's Lighthouse of Holly Springs

We've been with Children's Lighthouse of Holly Springs for one year now. In short, our son LOVES going to 'school' and has been absolutely thriving there! He recently started reading 'sight words,' he knows all of his numbers, colors and can count well past 30 at 4 years old. Shout out to the owners, Ms. M and Mr. J, the admin staff, Ms. Kendra and Ms. Sherrie, & our very favorite teachers - Ms. Beth, Mr. Nate & Ms. Denisha, you clearly love these little children and it shows!!

When our son started daycare, we knew it would be rocky at best - he had been cared for at home up to that point and was extremely attached, sensitive, and afraid of change. The entire staff at Children's Lighthouse came together to help him get acclimated. Before long, *every teacher* knew his name and it was clear they had been helping him get adjusted. In the first few weeks, Ms. M and Mr. J (the owners), Mr. Nate (who was not even our son's teacher at the time, and Ms. Kendra were highly involved in making sure our son felt safe and happy. I can't speak highly enough of the staff!!

Today, our son is outgoing, more respectful, significantly more adaptable to change, and happier in general thanks to Children's Lighthouse.

When our son first started, there was a bit of turn-over with the teacher's in his class (2's-3's). We also noticed that the teachers didn't didn't seem engaged with the kids and were not friendly. Let me tell you, this nonsense did not last long before the owners replaced those teachers with the absolute sweetest, most compassionate, and knowledgeable teacher we've met over the years in the Raleigh area - Ms. Beth. We love you Ms. Beth!!! Ms. Beth taught our son polite manners, listening skills, and even potty trained him! Our son is now in Mr. Nate's classroom and he couldn't be happier! Mr. Nate & Ms. Denisha's class is FUN; the kids have tons of art, sensory play, music, and other activities to keep them busy. Mr. Nate is a toddler guru, he has special powers I swear! Like Ms. Beth, he is loving, calm, and actively listens to the kids and their concerns.

All of the above to say, if there is an issue or concern (big or small), or your child needs special accommodations, rest assured the owners and teachers will go above and beyond so that you and your child are happy :) 10 stars!! Keep up the great work!
