Children's Lighthouse of Helotes

My grandkids have been attending CLH since they were toddlers (about 6 years), and they've learned so much and love the teachers. The staff keeps me informed on the happenings at the center and I appreciate the friendliness and attentiveness of the staff. The curriculum is age appropriate and very hands on. They love Ms. Bonnie's food!

My daughter is loved and academically challenged. Your staff is always consistent. I don’t see allot of turnover. They always work hard, give their best to my daughter, and give her a day full of routine. She is always learning new skills through a variety of methods. I leave her for the day and I always know she is in good hands. The wonderful staff is the best part!

The curriculum that is explained to parents is followed and our son comes home with new knowledge every week. It’s not just a daycare, it’s a school! Even in their infant classrooms, they don’t make excuses to not use the time to teach even the smallest children. They have activities, lessons and consistently follow through with the curriculum that is expected as a new parent with high hopes for their children. Not only is the curriculum upheld but the teachers are so kind and loving to the kids. They are welcoming to the families and make it easy to leave your children there by making a safe space for all. I trust that my child is in great hands everyday while he is learning and growing. We are so happy to be apart of the Children’s lighthouse family!

Couldn't be happier with our decision to remove our son at 8 months from the other daycare he was at in Helotes. The staff at Children's Lighthouse made every moment from onboarding to daily interactions truly enjoyable. They have an amazing curriculum and teachers that really care about the kids and their families. We are so happy to be apart of such a great school and plan to be here for a very long time!

My son has made a lot of great friends at Children's Lighthouse. He also LOVES the summer program with all of the cool field trips. I love the fact that their Pre-K program prepared him for kindergarten so well that he tested at higher grade levels for reading and math!

I love this place! Childrens lighthouse has helped me get so much experience. The staff/management is awesome and great to work with! Management is really understanding and very flexible with your schedule as well as very helpful. Very great place to be and work at. 10/10 I would recommend to anyone!

I moved my son from another daycare to Lighthouse and it’s been a great experience. He was a year old then he’s four now. My daughter as a new born and she’s 14 months now. I’ve never encountered any type of abuse or neglect. I’m only writing this review because of the ridiculous review left by Jane doe. When I have issues the staff is quick to resolve them. I’d have to say stop by and visit. Show up unannounced when your child is there. I have and I’ve never seen anything that would change my mind as to how I feel about Lighthouse daycare on Leslie rd.

Great place for before and after school care. They also have fun summer camps. Our son enjoys going here.

My son is officially potty trained! An enormous thank you to his teachers especially Ms. Megan in Room 5! Everyone is so loving and caring there, I'm just so grateful for this school. �

Love all the staff! My 3 year old has learned so much over the past few years here! The teachers truly care and have interest in what the kids are learning!

WE LOVE THIS SCHOOL! It has been such a wonderful experience for our entire family! Our daughter really enjoys going, and she absolutely loves all of the teachers here! Thank you for EVERYTHING you do!!

My daughter loves going there. Staff is very friendly , lots of activities, and I love recieving daily updates on how her day is going.
