Children of Tomorrow

I may be new to COT at the Norwood location but in the time that I've been there I have been privileged to work along side caring teachers that truly care about the children in they classes. Also, the staff is very helpful and supportive. I couldn't ask to work for a better place to work. I personally plan to enroll my kids in the summer program and I have no doubt that they will have a blast.

I have worked at Children of Tomorrow since 2012. After moving from Iowa and working in the same center for 16 years I was so nervous about working in a new place. I could not have chosen a better place to work. It's like being a part of a big family! I love helping out new parents and caring for their little kiddos. Knowing that we help them reach so many milestones is an amazing feeling! The smiles and hugs I get everyday make my day so much brighter!

We love Children of Tomorrow! We moved to Waconia last July and one of the things I was most anxious about was our son switching preschools because we were so happy with where he was. From the moment we met Tracy and the staff at COT I knew we had found a great 'new' school for Noah. I'm amazed everyday with how much he is learning, from counting in English, German, and Spanish to writing and recognizing letters and words, to interacting and playing well with friends. Thanks to COT and the great teachers there, our son is well prepared and ready to start Kindergarten!

Education, Foundation and Enrichment these three things aren't only what COT stands for but it's what I see everyday I come to work. The staff are more like friends, and the children mean the world to me! My favorite part about being a COT infant teacher is knowing I made an impact on their life and seeing all the "babies first" as parents see at home! These are reinforcements that I know this is the job for me!

We have been so incredibly blessed by the staff at COT. We were forced to make an abrupt change with our daycare arrangements and COT welcomed us with open arms and made the transition seamless for our children. They have an incredible facility, incredible and caring staff, and a top notch curriculum. Can't wait to continue to watch COT grow with our family in the years ahead!

We are new to Children of Tomorrow- NYA and the transitions for our family was super easy. As a mother & father, making a change is never easy. However; when our girls started the first day - there was no doubt in our minds. Our biggest concern was nap and meal time. Our girls never slept outside of cribs/pack n plays. They did GREAT!!! They have adjusted to the schedule amazingly! The first week, our girls were so incredibly happy. We feel they enjoy the variety of activities and the learning in fun ways. We have noticed the girls applying what they have learned, already!!! I look forward to the daily reports at the end of each day. We take the opportunity to discuss the girls day with them. We are very happy with the program COT offers. Thank you to all the staff at COT, especially Ms. Emma.

I LOVE working for Children of Tomorrow! I have been working here for 3 years and it's been an incredible experience. (Fun Fact: I also worked here as an aide in high school!) Aleta is inspiring, motivating and helps each staff member continue to grow. Coming to work everyday is fun, rewarding and fulfilling. The smiles and hugs from the children, the incredible staff and amazing families make COT a wonderful place to work. I highly recommend COT to anyone!

My family and I could not be happier with the choice to enroll our kids at Children of Tomorrow. The teachers are welcoming, thoughtful and provide our kids with the individual attention they need. Between field trips, in-house programs and theme weeks, our little busy-bodies are always experiencing something new and exciting. As a parent, I appreciate the open communication and approachability of both teachers and staff. I feel completely involved with their learning and am confident COT has prepared my children for Kindergarten.

My kids have been to a few daycares in the area but as a mom of a 4 year old with sensory processing disorder none of them seemed to work the classes were to big he was overwhelmed and he wasn't enjoying going since coming here my son loves daycare he actually has friends and I am not getting multiple calls a day that he his fighting or getting in trouble. My 3 year old daughter is now almost potty trained and is actually talking instead of sitting quietly and the teachers are great my son loves seeing them and helping them work in the classroom and they work great with his teacher from the school district on his needs

Children of Tomorrow is AMAZING! As a current staff member of 7 years and COT parent of 2 years, I would recommend Children of Tomorrow to any family. The curriculum is geared towards each age level and specific needs of each child, staff are knowledgeable and professional and the centers are welcoming for endless learning and exploring. COT is not just a childcare center but a school and second home that will teach your son/daughter core academics, life long skills and experiences that will stay with them forever!

Children of tomorrow is top notch. This learning center, founded and run by Aleta Mechtel, is run with a true passion for the children there and making the best and biggest impacts of every child that crosses their path.

I am very thankful for the families that i get to know through my job! I meet some wonderful kiddos, and amazing families. I cannot wait to meet more fabulous families throughout my time at COT!

Our son has been a student at COT Waconia since he was 12 weeks old and has loved it from the beginning! Now, at 17 months, he runs to the car in the morning to get to school. The teachers are fabulous, hands-on, and passionate about what they do every day. The teachers at COT Waconia work on everything from art to reading to numbers with the children, regardless of age (yes, on JJ's first day ever, he painted an Elmo picture). They are creative and come up with fun, age-appropriate crafts and games for the little ones that I never would have come up with on my own. As a result of COT Waconia's care, JJ has become a little artist, athlete, Einstein, and reading machine and he is always excited to show me the new things he's learned at school!

Our family highly recommends Children of Tomorrow in Chanhassen! Our 18-month old daughter started in the young toddler room and Miss Josie (lead teacher) is phenomenal (as is Miss Caitlyn, assistant teacher). Both have helped my daughter adjust effortlessly from an infant room at a different center to their toddler room. The staff at Children of Tomorrow are welcoming and kind. Melissa (director) is personable and very approachable. Miss Angel has such a warm personality and is always smiling. We have only been here for a month, but we are looking forward to the years we will spend with the staff at Children of Tomorrow.

Children of Tomorrow is simply amazing. Our family recently switched learning center locations and it happened to be a big change not only for us, but for our 18 month old daughter. She went from an infant room at one center, to a young toddler room at Children of Tomorrow. With a whole new environment, and ALL new faces, we were nervous. Miss Josie (young toddler lead teacher) has made our transition effortless and so comforting. Miss Josie called us twice our first week and reassured us that our daughter was adjusting so well, and made sure we didn't have any questions or concerns. She is phenomenal and has such a warm heart. It is amazing how fast our daughter has adjusted to her new classroom and we have Miss Josie and Miss Caitlyn (and all of the staff at Children of Tomorrow) to thank for this amazing experience. We can't wait for the many years ahead of us at Children...

My wife and I switched to COT mostly because we needed a location that was more convenient to home. We found that being closer to home was only one of the many benefits! The staff is professional, considerate and caring. They consistently demonstrate that they are fully vested in the education and care of our children. Our oldest has made a number of friends and often tells us about the fun things he learns at school. We are very happy with Children of Tomorrow and appreciate all their hard work and their great attitudes.

We have 3 children who go to COT and they LOVE it! The teachers are amazing and I am constantly amazed at how much the kids know at such young ages. We love you COT!

As much as I love working as COT I love having my child at COT! My son is in the younger infant room and his teachers are AMAZING! They are always willing to work with any changes I make in my child's schedule throughout the day. They are so helpful when it comes to deciding what comes next and when. This is my first baby so I have a lot of questions. I would recommend COT for anyone!

We love Children of Tomorrow Learning Center! My son adores his teachers and the staff at COT. He is constantly talking about the fun things he has learned at school. As a parent, I know that each day when I drop my children off at school that they are getting the love and attention they need. I couldn't ask for more!

We toured several daycare centers in the area and instantly fell in love with COT based on the strong sense of love, care and emphasis they put on education and growing each child as their own unique individual. The facility is clean, bright and the teachers are always cheerful. The positive energy is palpable, you can feel it the second you enter the front door, and you see it positivity reflected in the children. We have been bringing our 13-month old son to COT since he was 3-months old. It has been a wonderful experience!
