It has been a year and 4 months since my surgery. I remain totally free from the daily
numbness that I endured since my first pregnancy 30 years ago. Doctor Jurbala assured me that I would know the surgical results (no numbness) on the evening of the surgery after the injected medication wore off. He was absolutely right and I felt it was a miracle! I do not take ibuprofen or Aleve since I have sensitivity to them. It was suggested that in their place I use a turmeric supplement combined with Tylenol for anti-inflammatory purposes and comfort after surgery. That combination worked amazingly well for my management of minimal pain. I had no side effects and needed no other pain medication.
Prior to finding Carpal Tunnel Express, I visited a hand surgeon in my home state of NY. He diagnosed my carpal tunnel and suggested I get scheduled for the traditional surgery. It would have cost over $4,000. In the end, my husband and I managed to fly to the beach for over a week. We were able to have a vacation with family while there for the surgery. We rented a lovely beach condo, a car, covered our airfares and the surgical costs all for over a thousand dollars less than the cost of the traditional surgery in NY. It would have been a butchering of my hand requiring many follow up visits and more time off. The recovery from my procedure was exactly as expected. I have a tiny scar that is hard to see.
