I had carpel tunnel in both hands. One visit to Dr. Jabala problem fixed (complete evaluation and surgery in less than 2 hours). Surgery is never pleasurable, but in this case, it was. Dr. Jabala and his entire staff were outstanding (informative, courteous, professional and treated you like a person not just a number waiting). You would never expect treatment like this from a Dr. with a room full of patients. Dr. Jabala explained everything in detail and truly seemed to care. I only wish all Doctors had this much concern for their patients. From my perspective Dr. Jabala cared for his patients and not the fees he would earn. His staff were just the nicest professional caring people you would ever experience (just as a reference point on how great they were after the surgery I had asked if they could get a cab for me to get back to the hotel. Once they found out it would cost $50 to go 6 miles the office manager drove me back. I got to say when was the last time you got service like that from the staff!)
I was supposed to have surgery earlier in February where general anesthesia would be administered. I would have to go off Xarelto for 5 days. I felt this was a bit over kill especially the part of being off Xarelto for 5 days. So, I did some searching for alternative procedures for carpel tunnel surgery and discovered Dr. Jabala’s method. With Dr. Jabala I had no worries; No anesthesia, did not have to stop taking my medication. His method was to employ a local anesthesia (nothing more than a pin prick). Throughout the entire surgery he was explaining everything that was happening. I was never more satisfied with the outcome (that night I drove more than 200 miles), I had no pain nothing more than a few Tylenol would fix.
I would highly recommend Dr. Jabala to anyone needing this type of surgery. In fact, I would welcome the opportunity to personally speak with anyone who needs carpel tunnel surgery and is considering Dr. Jabala.
Yours truly,
Edward Smith
