CARING PEDIATRIC ASSOCIATES

Caring Pediatrics has been my 4 year olds primary care office for approximately 2.5 years. Firstly, the general look of the office is clean and welcoming. There is a little play table in the waiting area, with children’s characters painted all around the walls, and each exam room has its own theme which my daughter loves and keeps her distracted while we wait to be seen. The check in is smooth and staff is always friendly. Dr. A and Dr. Lisa are both so patient and friendly with the kids and the nurses are as well.
That said, our most recent visit was good except a nurse I haven’t seen before, was a bit cold with my daughter in the process of administering swab tests for Covid/flu/strep. My daughter was uneasy, as I think we all are with these tests, anyhow she immediately said “we’ll have to hold you down” which obviously instilled panic in my daughter. Instead of talking calmly and explaining or distracting her, she seemed rushed and impatient, which is not the tone of this office typically. If I do happen to see her again, I’ll request someone else take care of us.
