Not all moving companies are created equal! I was fortunate enough to win a contest through the Two Men and a Truck Facebook page. Now, I will never utilize another moving company other than Two Men and a Truck. I cannot go through enough positive adjectives to describe the whole moving experience. Thorough paperwork up front to ensure we had an adequately sized crew and truck. A polite, efficient, and thorough crew that worked exceptionally hard despite the brutal NC July heat and handled all of our items with care. Their estimate was spot-on in terms of time and truck size and factoring in disassembly/reassembly of furniture. They arrived right on time and were professional, careful and fast movers.

The kicker for me is that I found out the day before my move that the folks moving out of my new home had left half of their furniture.

Antoine was so fantastically professional about it - he gently pointed out that dismantling and moving that furniture wasn't in the estimate, but said that he'd make sure we were taken care of.

He, Eric and Terrence moved all of my stuff AND disassembled and moved the left furniture. They also didn't bat an eye when I told them the wrong places for a couple of large items. I'm so grateful for their help, and I happily recommend Two Men and a Truck. Read more >

We had two packers come before the day of the move to pack the fragile dishes, pictures, and lamps. They were courteous and friendly and got everything packed in a timely manner. We had our household moved into storage so we can't assess how they survived just yet. The next day, there were three trucks and seven men who came to move us out. They cleared our four bedroom house in about three hours and then they worked for another two hours on the other end to move it into the storage lockers. Hard working guys! We needed service for only 2 hours to move all the heavy stuff up to the 2nd floor of our new home.
