We moved furniture into and out of a pod while we painted. Two Men and a Truck (with Robert Smith as the leader of the crew) did a wonderful job. They were very careful, attentive to our wishes and directions and were pleasant throughout the move, despite the fact that some of our furniture was large, heavy and unwieldy. Read more >

The move went so amazing because of the team we had from the Durham NC office. Professionalism was outstanding. All of our belongings arrived without any damage. We moved two hours away so it was a two day job due to the size of the house. Communication was on point from the beginning which is always extremely appreciated. Our estimator was also on point with the weight expected so there were no crazy unexpected costs. We had such a positive experience with Two Men and a Truck. It's always difficult to pick a moving company as you can hear mixed experiences, but Two Men and a Truck seemed to have consistently good reviews so I went with them and I'm very glad I did. They were very responsive to my initial request, quickly scheduled a virtual walkthrough, provided an estimate, and were able to get on the calendar on my desired date. On the day of we felt in such good hands with our team (Terrance, Dallas, and Traveon). They were very professional, and from the moment they came into the house and did the walkthrough had a scoped out plan of action. They handled all of our items with care including some large furniture on the second floor, large paintings, and other fragile items. I have used your company in the past in a different city and was pleased. I felt comfortable I would get the same service here. I was wrong. I had an appointment for 9-10. They called at 9:50 to say they were going to be late because they were on the 3rd truck to find one that ran. There were 2 young men. Nash and Scott. They were both very respectful. However Nash worked very hard and took care to not damage any of my furniture. Scott was hurrying and even broke a piece off of my antique music cabinet since he didn't bother to wrap it. I also found chipped paint and scuffs on some other pieces. He kept complaining he needed a different job and to quit smoking. Nash just kept going and doing Scott's job as well. I will be sending a tip to Nash Only.

The movers who showed up were very intent on ensuring their cutomers were happy. Anthony and Gregory had very pleasnt demeanor and "can-do" attitude, possessed willingness to get things done as efficiently as possible, and presented in a professional manner.

One thing that could be changed about the process: the invoice when being paid by credit card, should have a space for gratuity to be added to the charge. When moving it is easy to forget to go to the bank for cash as most of us do not have cash on hand and depend on electronic payments. Read more >

I gave them four stars because of the office team. Make sure they have you on the books for your move as there was a mix up with mine! I had to call a second time to make sure they had all my info as it wasn't saved from my first phone call.

Even after they helped me move all of my belongings into my storage unit, they saw that I was hanging back to organize things and checked in to see if I needed any additional help. The Two Men and a Truck Team was excellent! Lexie at the office was very knowledgeable, nice and prompt with responsiveness. Terrance was the Team Leader for our Pack and Move and was superb! He was so friendly and went the extra mile to please us and pack certain things to be positioned at the front of the storage etc. On the pack he had Dallas, Robert Smith and Magdaleno. I feel like they all are part of our family now from Dallas calling me to always let me know when they were arriving to Rob’s expertise on organization and memory relating to sorting items going to two different places.
