Burns in the Kitchen

We have been using Burns in the Kitchen for 3 weeks now as a private chef client, and are, overall, very pleased. Here is a comprehensive review:

- [ ] Food quality and ingredients: Excellent. They select the least toxic ingredients possible and it’s clear everything is fresh. They make everything gluten-free, dairy free, soy free, and only cook with coconut oil or avocado oil (some of these may be a drawback for some, but we have some allergies so it’s great for us). A possible drawback is they don’t serve pork at all. They do however, make delicious turkey sausage (for turkey at least) and do a lot of great things with grass-fed beef.
- [ ] Flavor: surprisingly good. I don’t know how, but they make a lasagna that is amazing. Their culinary ability definitely shines in many of the dishes. Though they are making “healthy” versions of common dishes and comfort foods, you don’t feel like you’re missing out on the “real” thing.
- [ ] Communication: Excellent. Working with Cornelius on a weekly menu has been easy and has only required about 10-15 minutes total per week. It’s easy to find solutions to fit preferences so you’re getting what you want.
- [ ] Cost: Very Fair. This is a great value for us. We are able to save cooking, shopping and clean-up time, while getting great quality food. Many dishes are better than most restaurants could make, certainly better than I could cook. We are definitely paying less than what it would cost to eat out every night.
- [ ] We absolutely recommend Burns in the Kitchen for families and are recommending them to all our friends!
