Building Kidz of Gilbert

Pulled out my child due to the following reasons:
1) Building Kids bought out the daycare my daughter was already enrolled in. During the introduction, the new owner started with “don’t look at the reviews from our other location”. Which immediately let me know they have had issues they do not plan to fix.

2)As a working parent I was not happy to find out they close for one or two weeks at Christmas, and the week of Labor Day. Upon taking over they gave a calendar of closed days for a year in advance but FORGOT July 3rd and posted a sign at the door one week in advance, other holidays always had a sign up 3-4 weeks before the actual holiday, we were still expected to pay with a one-week notice.

3)They talk about nutrition on their website.. but the same week they increased prices to $340 a week for a two-year-old was the same week they gave her goldfish for breakfast.

4) They day after I informed them I would be taking my child elsewhere I was notified my child bit two kids in one day. When asking further questions, we were informed “this has been a problem before” but with no mention of it before, or previous incident reports. I feel like any incident with biting should be discussed with the parent and written up the FIRST time it happens, not later.

Despite all this I will give the teachers in the classroom a good review as they are all kind and compassionate towards the kids, but with the lack of incident reports and price increase for the amount of time close a year we decided it was best for us to pull our daughter out.
