When we searched for childcare several months ago, I was given a tour of this facility even though they were full and not accepting any new kids. I was very impressed with what I saw: small groups, planned activities including arts & crafts, music/dancing, and even little science experiments. The kids I saw that day were all having a great time, and I was disappointed that my daughter could not join them. I ended up putting her into another preschool, this one with many more kids and much larger groups. I won't delve into the problems we had there since this is not a review of that facility. Suffice to say she was very unhappy there, and would cry inconsolably each night when she knew she had to go to school the next day. We came to a breaking point and started looking for another school. We thought to check this place out again and lo and behold there was a space available for her. She's been attending for a few weeks now, and although she still has separation anxiety in the morning, when we come to pick her up in the afternoons she is always happy and excited to tell me about all the fun things she did throughout the day. There have been several times where I have arrived to find her in the midst of some fun activity and thought, maybe next time I should pick her up a little bit later! You can tell the staff really cares about the kids, and my daughter really likes them and feels comfortable with them in return. If you need childcare and there is a space here, take it!
I would recommend Bright Ideas on Broadway to anyone looking for a safe, loving, educational environment for their child. I have two children that attend Bright Ideas. 1 is in the infant's room and the other in the 2's. My two year old absolutely loves the daycare and all of the staff. I am so comfortable knowing that when I drop my children off that they are going to be loved and taken care of. If there has ever been an issue or concern that I have had, Abby and Melissa have always been willing to talk with my husband and I about any questions that we have and have helped us in more ways than I could ever thank them. All of the staff at bright ideas love working with kids and you can tell that every staff member enjoys their job. The staff always lets me know if there was every an accident involving my child and I love that they incorporate water days in the hot summer months. I appreciate all that Bright Ideas has done and continues to do for my family.
I have 2 children who attend Bright Ideas. One of them is in the 2's room and the other in the infants. I have had GREAT experiences with the staff and facility! One of the front desk managers, Abby, is always in an upbeat and happy mood. I can tell that she enjoys her job and is always a joy to be around and chat with. She has helped my family out in some many ways that I cannot even begin to thank her enough. I love that I feel 100% comfortable dropping off my children and knowing that they are in a safe, happy, and educational environment. The classroom teachers always show my children so much love and when I ask for something to be done with my children, they always make sure to do it right away. I have been with Bright Ideas for over a year and I can't express enough the gratitude I have for the staff and facility.
My almost 4 year old son has been going to Bright Ideas since he was 8 months old. My 7 month old daughter started with them this past March. So this alone says a lot about how much we love Bright Ideas. The teachers are the soul of this school. They are awesome! They are all very open and we can talk to them anytime if we have questions and/or concerns. The teachers in the infant room all seem to truly care about the well being and growth of my baby girl. Spending time with her, giving her tummy time, sitting time and all around love. I can check in on an app on my phone to see when she was fed/diaper change etc. Bright Ideas is truly a "home-away-from-home" for my kids. With them, we feel like we are family. You can see how much they care and love the kids. The teachers and Managers are just that to us- like a family.

Not only is there staff warm and inviting when I walk into the center, I also find them to be a intelligent group of "bright" women. They are always willing to go the extra mile and help with whatever needed. Last week I was having a hard time with potty training and was almost in fill break down mode, any parent who has potty trained understands what I am talking about. The teacher suggested we have a full team meeting and got everyone together so we could discuss what would be the best approach for my child. It was refreshing and put me back on the right track. The children seem happy and they come home excited about their day. Thank you to the staff and families at this center for giving it a home away from feeling.
