My steep roof was no problem for the team from Blue Goat Roofing. I had a few requirements related to my historic home and the owner Nick communicated well to both understand my needs and ensure I was aware of tradeoffs. Blue Goat really delivered and I am thankful. To top that, I think they left my property more tidy than when they started and it just shows how they take pride in doing their best for customers.

Spectacular service! They arrived at 7 a.m. on time, covered the area with blue tarps, and began work immediately. Within hours, they removed the old roof and solar panels, and started installing the new roofing. The crew was hardworking, efficient, and focused. By 7 p.m., the new roof was installed and the area was left spotless.

The crew was awesome. They were respectful, hard working and very thorough. I would hire them again.

In 2022 Nick and his team put a new roof on our home in the northend of Boise which was built in the 1940s. A first generation immigrant from southeast asia , I knew nothing about roofing and old homes but Nick was very patient and clearly explained what he thought our home/roof would need. Nick was able to come up logical solutions for the issues our roof had due to prior suboptimal design. The price was fair, job was done on time. There was subsequenlty an issue with our skylight which Nick had already asked me to lookout for, this was fixed promptly , so good follow up. Nick was very professional and did not try to sell add ons. He comes across as a sincere and genuine roofer.

Nick and his crew put a new roof on our house and garage. They not only did quality work, but more importantly Nick was responsive and timely in all our dealings. I would highly recommend Blue Goat Roofing and will use them again in the future.

Blue Goat demo'ed my old roof and put a new roof on my older Bench house a couple years ago, and if you have never had this done -- I can tell you getting a new roof makes every day better. Seeing it, coming home to it, and generally just looking at it when I'm in the yard. Nick & crew got the job done in early spring, and in short order for a reasonable rate by my research -- it took three days max to strip it down and put a new roof on. Then last summer I got new siding put on the house by a separate contractor. In the recent January (2024) roof edge ice dam thaw -- I noticed some water making it's way into my kitchen... this was the result of the ice dam shifting a small piece of new siding out from a short stretch of roof edge where a gable went out from main roof... I called Nick early in the morning, and he courteously replied and promptly fit a visit in to diagnose my leak...

Excellent work. They came out to assess my roof leak right away. They assessed my roof quickly. I appreciate the knowledge and experience they bring when explaining my options.

The crew was very quick and efficient! The tore off my roof in one day and installed it in another day. They cleaned up wet well and it even looked cleaner than what I originally had!

As part of an overall complex project (windows, stucco, roof), I started interviewing roofing companies eight months before I needed my roof replaced. Nick Hurren of Blue Goat Roofing was one of several companies I interviewed that is recognized by Certainteed as a “Select ShingleMaster”. Nick discussed options (tile, metal, shingles) and within a few days provided me with quotes for all of the options we discussed.

I ultimately chose to go with Blue Goat Roofing because of Nick’s customer service and flexibility. Whenever I had a question Nick was quick to respond. Working with our stucco contractor, Nick sent his team to replace flashing when requested, and then scheduled the roof tear off and installation while the stucco cured.

I’m the guy with binoculars who checked out the roof once it was completed, and I can tell you that I’m thrilled with my new...
