I just finished the first shoulder steak. It was phenomenal! I love the natural flavor of the pork. The richness of the fat is delectable! I can’t wait to try the rest of the meats. I’m ecstatic that they provide such an exemplary example of a heritage breed.

The meat is so good, but the skin care is top notch! I was searching for an all natural deodorant with the pork lard, and this one has been SO good. Highly recommend trying the skin care.

Great people very friendly as you approach the property there's a check in office next the the scale and dock doors at the other building check in with the people inside they will give you a dock door and most likely have you weigh ur trailer be careful with ur tractor and the scale but it's very fast n easy if u are headed to Denver there is no truck parking for at least 3+ hours so if ur low on time just park ur trailer on their lot where the employees park their cars they r very chill about it

Black Gold Family Farm raises high quality Berkshire pork. Their meats are well marbled and incredibly flavorful. We have also gotten two breeder pigs from BGFF. The gilts have excellent conformation, and exceptional temperaments and we are anticipating lots of big litters as they farrow.
The owners have communicated with us promptly and professionally. They have been honest and ethical in all of our business dealings. Melissa has also provided lots of sound advice and has been patient and helpful with all of my questions.

Tastiest pork you’ll ever have. My Grandpa grew up on a farm in the 30’s-50’s and says this is the only pork that tastes anything close to what his family raised! Kurt and Melissa are awesome

Melissa was Wonderful to deal with and the product is incredible. This might be the best pork i ever had. Chops and steaks are out of this world not to mention the smoked products. Deliver to denver and will definitely be putting in another order when we run out.

So we got the sampler pack. Never bought meat online before but we love that it was locally raised here in Colorado… I had heard great things about the farm…so we wanted to try it as we want to eat more farm raised meats… They hand delivered it right to our door! Omg! So delicious! We still have a few things left from the package which we are so excited to eat! This pork has a very unique taste and I used the bacon grease for further cooking and what’s amazing is the grease never got hard! It was smooth and delicious! I’m definitely buying from them again! But this time I’m going all in!!

It’s clean, free of hormones, steroids, vaccines, etc. Bacon is excellent, sausage very good, pork chops delicious.

Hands down the best pork shoulder I have ever had the pleasure of turning into carnitas. You can truly taste the quality and care Black Gold puts into their products. I'll be back for more real soon!
