Bedford Child Development Center

My son started here at about 9-10 months in the infant room and he is now in the Toddler 1 room. We have had the absolute best experience here, all the staff is wonderful. They have an app to communicate through throughout the day and the teachers post the classrooms activities they do during the day so you will never wonder how your child is doing. The staff does fun activities with the kids each day and provide good snacks for the kids. Invest in your childcare and you get exactly what you pay for and more at BCDC, they truly love the kids.

The reaction time when our son was choking and the way they handled our son's seizure was impressive. I was 8 months pregnant with our daughter and had just arrived when he began seizing. We have been attending Bedford Child Development Center for nearly 5 years, since the birth of our first child. As a new parent with a lot of concerns, they were supportive and helpful and talked or emailed me multiple times a day to ease my nerves. Every child is receiving a high level of education daily, but they are also surrounded by a group of teachers that show their love and concern for them every day. My kids love to go to school. They appreciate all of the fun activities, the outside time, and the learning opportunities. When I was on bed rest with my twins the teachers supported my kids, looked out for us and let us know when they were having an emotional time, and even helped them get dressed and ready for school pictures. 6 1/2 years ago we walked into the building very nervous and worried about leaving our 1st child in the hands of anyone else. We called at least twice a day for the first several weeks to make sure our little guy was ok which never once did they make us feel that we we’re inconveniencing them when we called. They understand that Leaving your child in the hands of someone else that you don’t know is very scary. From day one the staff have always been so pleasant and welcoming. They always say hi or good morning with a smile on their face at the door. They encourage you to talk about how your child is doing at home and love to tell you about your child’s day at the center.

We love Bedford Child Development Center! I recommend it to everyone we know with small children and always rave about how much we love it to our family and friends. We started my son at the center when he was about 5 months old after I started a new job close to home. We visited a few centers in the Temperance area, but as soon as we walked into Bedford Child Development Center, we instantly knew this was the perfect center. When we started looking at child care, we wanted somewhere that we felt safe and comfortable dropping him off every day. We wanted to know that staff was on the same page as us when it came to caring for our son, and we are not disappointed at this center. They are great at communicating with the parents through the app, letters home, and just chatting on the way in and out of the center. Bedford Child Development Center is a wonderful place with caring professionals who will care for your children like their own. I visited many daycares in the area and BCDC was far superior then others. I would recommend them to anyone!

From the first day we dropped off our daughter almost 2 years ago to now having infant twins to send there as well, this place has been amazing! The teachers and staff are so welcoming and friendly. They go above and beyond to have conversations with you about your child’s development and make you feel comfortable about your child being there all day. They even have an app that they use to upload pictures of your child playing and doing different activities so you can see them throughout the day! Our daughter is excited to see her friends and her teachers when she gets there. Sending your children somewhere for 40+ hours a week is hard enough, but it eases our minds taking them to BCDC knowing they are in great care!!

I don’t even know where to begin. The center is so structured and open about their schedule and what your child is doing and when and being able to see it all on the Bloomz app is awesome! The whole staff is extremely caring and makes everyone feel like one big family. Our first was so prepared for kindergarten, it was a very easy transition on all of us, were hoping for the same outcome with our second. I recommend everyone looking or needing childcare to check them out. I will be sad when our youngest is in kindergarten and we are out of the center completely.

We love Bedford Child Development Center. We couldn't ask for them to care for our son anymore than they do. Its evident to see the relationships he has built with his teachers from the Infant Room with Miss Megan and Miss Rachel to Toddler 1 with Miss Sarah, Miss Rylee, and Miss Kelly. It makes dropping him off every morning that much easier when the teachers engage with you on your child's development AND the every day activities. They are great at keeping you in the loop!

All four of my children have attended Bedford Child Development Center and I am so thankful for its role in my family's life over the past ten years. The teachers genuinely care for the children at BCDC. They gracefully manage to provide a safe, educational environment while still nurturing the children and encouraging fun play. My two older children were well prepared for elementary school following their preschool years at BCDC, both academically and socially. While no one will ever care for your children exactly the way a loving parent can, I work at peace knowing my children are well cared for and enjoying their days with friends and teachers at Bedford Child Development Center.

Our daughter has been going to BCDC for over a year now and we absolutely love it. So much so that we are still making the drive after moving 30 minutes away. The staff truly cares about each and every child as if they are their own. When we toured in 2017, it felt like home and to this day we still consider BCDC our daughter's second home. <3 Thank you for continuing to provide a safe learning environment for little G. We couldn't be more grateful for what you do every day and for the friendships she (we) have developed.

When we enrolled our son at Bedford Child Development Center we were extremely anxious first time parents of a 10 month old. He had had a truly awful experience at another local daycare in the weeks prior, and to say we were leery was an understatement. Within minutes of starting the tour it became apparent that this was the place our son should be. They reassured us and calmed all our fears. Fast forward 3 years, and the center has become like family to us! Our little boy loves his classroom and all his teachers, and he claps and cheers when we pull into the parking lot. My daughter has been going to Bedford Development Center since she was 6 months old. So she has been there for over a year now and I couldn’t be happier. It is scary choosing a daycare and learning to trust people with your child. The teachers here are great and I know they truly love and care for my child. Each day she learns something new and blows my mind. Everyday when I go to work I know my daughter is in good hands. Honestly you ladies do such an amazing job and I can’t thank you enough!

I do not have enough good things to say about Bedford Child Development Center(BCDC). It is more than a daycare/preschool; it is a FAMILY. I have never thought twice about leaving my daughter Adyson there while I am at work. She has been going to BCDC since she was 5 months old. Prior to going to BCDC, Adyson was at home with family members, so sending her to BCDC on that first day was a very calm transition for Adyson and I. My husband and I only interviewed at BCDC. The friendly, nurturing and professional manner from the teachers and office staff eased any of our concerns and our decision was finalized.
