We have been to Avocado two times, once for breakfast and once for dinner. Each time we were very happy with our meals.
For breakfast the pancakes and eggs were delicious. Our dinner was also delicious. We had the taco dinner and we both said they were very tasty!
So glad we have this local restaurant to visit.

My cousin and I decided to check this restaurant because it took over the old Dennys. We were pleasantly surprised with the portions of all the food we ordered and how prompt everything came out. We ordered chips and queso, an empanada, a burrito, and steak fajitas, and it all came out to about $50 which I thought was pretty reasonable. Also, we got a few happy hour discounts. A huge upgrade over Denny's, which was already excellent due to the great staff. The menu is very large, with breakfast, lunch and dinner dishes available at all hours. Try the half chicken, the vegetable fajitas or anything else- due to the great cook, the food is superb. Read more >

Service is fast and easy, I'm going during a weekday mid morning/noon ish. And it's pretty empty. I've heard talkings in town that this place was pretty good. They have a breakfast menu that stops being served about 1130/12ish. But have all day breakfast on their lunch/dinner menu. Food came out fast and looks great! I went here yesterday and it was great! After I was seated, the waiter came quickly and took my order. I had the grits & shrimp and a steak burrito. The grits came in a few minutes and was delicious and the shrimp seemed very fresh. The burrito was awesome! Nice portion and full of flavor. Waiter was always attentive but not intrusive. Delicious food & excellent customer service. Went here for happy hour one day and breakfast a different day. I prefer them for breakfast, although their empanadas are really good & are chock FULL of beef. For breakfast,, I had the churro pancake breakfast & husband had the Mexican burrito. Well what can I say. This is just Denny's rebadged Just a new name and some new decor. They guy who sat us maybe was having a bad day or he really needs to rethink his career choices. Not very friendly but it is what it is. The highlight was our server. She was very sweet. As always with Denny's aka Avocado Kitchen the food took forever and there were only a few table. I was hesitant about this place when it replaced Denny’s, as Denny’s was one of my favorite spots. But Avocados is a more than worthy replacement! Very large portions, tasty food, and great prices! I’ve been twice and had the beef burrito, their breakfast, and their French fries. All have been extremely yummy and an extremely good value, and most people will end up even being able to save some leftovers! Staff is nice and attentive (a lot of the staff worked at the Denny’s, which is nice to see), restaurant is clean, what else can you ask for? Read more >

You hate to see any business close (meaning Denny's). But what a breath of fresh air Avocados Kitchen is. My husband and I had a late breakfast the other day. We each had the Madurro French Toast. It was delicious! The plantains were a perfect touch to the sweet French toast. The fruit on the side was so fresh (strawberries and blueberries). We had scrambled eggs ana hash browns on the side. Plenty of food. We did not go home hungry. The manager James came by the table and introduced himself and asked how everything was. So nice meeting him! We always like when managers come out and greet and speak to customers. Makes you feel like they really care about how your experience was. We plan on going back to try their dinner menu.

I was so pleasantly surprised with Avocado's Kitchen! With it being Dennys previously and having bad experiences, I was definitely a little weary. However, Avocado's Kitchen exceeded my expectations! The nachos were amazing and the portions overall were huge. The service was fast, and the waitress was very nice and went above and beyond.
