After extensive time spent for research of pool leak and repair companies, ALD did what was stated and did not over charge.

What I also learned was to avoid Red Rhino for bait and switch on prices.

Our in-ground pool (which is about 40 years old) was leaking water and sucking in air. D.J., the Leak Specialist, appeared on time and quickly discovered the leak. D.J. explained what he was doing as he worked and informed me of how to monitor the pool in case there are future leaks. He was very professional and courteous at all times. I had an ins. Claim for water damage. My ins. Company hired this company. This company's Rep out of Punta Gorda came to find the source of the leak from outside of my home. He was on time and explained what he was doing and answered my many questions. He said he would send report to my ins. I did not have to do anything.

I highly recommend this company. When I called to schedule service for an underground leak I was told that Rob was the best. They are right. I followed Rob as he searched for the leak and was very impressed with his knowledge, thought process and approach to the issue. It was an extremely difficult issue to diagnose due to it being an older home and because of a prior contractor who screwed some things up. Rob wouldn't give up. He tried many approaches, scratched his head, and finally came up with the "ah hah - I found it". The resolution took a big burden off me. Thanks American Leak Detection. Thanks Rob. American Leak Detection was able to get D.J. out to my house in less than 24 hours from calling. I was given a time frame of only 2 hours and D.J. called me 45 min before the beginning of the time frame to let me know he wouldn't be there until 45 min into the start of the time frame. I appreciated how respectful of my time D.J. was.

Called for slab leak detection at 1:15 pm today. They were here at 2:15 and found the leaking spot by 4:30. Terrific service.

I have used this company several times and have been satisfied. However, after our last service detection with DJ, I could confidently say that DJ did the upmost to make sure our pool was leak free. His commitment to the customer was reassuring. He was friendly, competent and comfortable with his work. The owners are fortunate to have such a dedicated employee.

Excellent experience. When we discovered we had a leak, we called ALD and DJ showed up in about an hour. Very professional. Found the leak quickly - a cracked pipe. Capped the leak right away. Came back in a couple days with all the parts needed to finish the job. Very personable and knowledgable. Very expensive, but we felt it was worth it.

I was hesitant to spend the extra money to get American Leak Detection out to my pool. I was trying to find the leak on my own and I had spent a week without fixing it. I made the call and they came out within a few hours. DJ worked on my pool using all the cool gadgets and equipment to make sure with absolute certainty that he cound find the leak. After he found the leak and repaired it, he went back and checked again all the areas. He was very polite and professional along with the person on the phone.
