I was terrified going into my first appointment. Pregnancy has always scared me and I never really wanted to be a mom. I knew alliance would help me with a lot of fears and ease me into becoming a mother. The front desk assistant (Michaela) was so kind and welcoming. She was able to greet me with such a peace and understanding with how scary this is. Then I was called to talk with Erica who has been absolutely wonderful to work with. Because of some finalizing with insurance, we really didn’t feel comfortable establishing with an OB in the event something gets shifted, so Alliance has been so kind to see me for my prenatal care so far for 16 weeks. They even offer an ultrasound at each appointment! (Most doctors don’t do that, unless you’re high risk) This has helped me so much in connecting with my baby, and also helping me feel more and more at peace with all the changes I am about to go through. Moving forward, I will be transferring to a birthing center to see through the rest of my pregnancy, and Alliance is so great to be able to transfer everything to them for a smooth transition.
Alliance has been a fantastic resource for me to begin this motherhood journey. I can’t thank them enough for the kindness, their patience, and helping me through some really intense mental battles. I will always recommend going to Alliance in your early stages of pregnancy, especially if you’re not having an easy time mentally adjusting to how a baby affects so much in a woman’s life.
