I have been diagnosed with Meniere's Disease and have had episodes for almost
25 years. This past January and February I had recurring episodes that were more frequent and intense than ever before.
Once these subsided I instead had episodes of dizziness 4-5 times a week for an hour and a half. I went to doctors, had an MRI, took meds, but nothing worked.
Finally, I was introduced to Abide Physical
Therapy. I was reluctant at first because I worried that it could make my dizziness worse. But during the first appointment the therapist asked many questions and dug deep. She suspected that I was very tight in the upper back and neck which could pinch nerves and restrict blood flow. Abide Physical Therapy has been a shining star in the world of help for both of my children. We are dealing with EDS, POTS and myasthenia gravis with young adults. My daughter’s first visit she said her heart rate had not been that low (normal) in years! My son’s experience was equally as successful. I would HIGHLY recommend Abide Physical Therapy. I live in South Carolina and was referred to Dr. Michelle along with another doctor I saw while out in phoenix. I cannot say enough wonderful things about her treatment and follow up plan. After years of not having a lot of relief from pain, she did a great consultation to learn more precisely what to work on and then went from there. She did some craniosacral manual therapy and i didn’t have a headache for the first time in maybe 15 years. She released pressure and helped pain where I didn’t even tell her where I was hurting. She just knew from listening to my body. Not only did she help me, she helped me with follow up doctors in my area. If you are around phoenix, I highly recommend going to see her. I was referred to Dr Michelle as someone who could help me with my chronic pain and de-conditioning from hypermobile EDS and MCAS. Michelle worked on my back and knees and gave me little exercises to re-engage muscles that weren't working in a correct way. I was in bad enough shape most exercise was making me worse, not better. Michelle's exercises gradually got me fitter and walking more normally and only made me worse one time. Then she was quick to find a different way to do it so I could progress without pain. I highly recommend Michelle to help with complex cases like hypermobile Ehlers Danlos.

Dr. Michelle has been nothing short of a miracle worker for me. I am a 42-year-old father of two teenage boys and I’m very active. I worked with Michelle to recover from a very painful back injury. Michelle was/is amazing. The modalities Michelle used and the stretches she provided were what I needed. What I loved even more was that Michelle didn’t overwhelm me with so many stretches to do daily that it felt impossible to fit them all in. Instead, she focused on a few that allowed me to take time during my days at work and, of course, at home to be consistent.
