I hurt my ankle while running and had high amounts of pain for the next couple of weeks. A friend recommended that I reach out to Abide Physical Therapy. The doctor was patient, skilled, empathetic and highly experienced. After treatment and following her instructions for daily stretching I’m back to enjoying exercise again. I highly recommend Abide Physical Therapy!

I have been working with Dr. Perry since early February 2022. Focus areas of body repair started with left wrist (low mobility from excess scar tissue), followed by left knee (chronic arthritis and severe meniscus tear), and currently on hip / ankle mobility (long-standing misalignment during squats resulting from left knee over-compensation).

Her initial approach is surgical and her subsequent remedies are corrective. After recovery, her efforts combine into sustainable preventative measures (tasks) for improved balance and mobility. I integrate her assignments into my daily warm-up routine and although they are sometimes time-intensive, they are sufficient for injury prevention and improved performance.

I chose Abide because of their focus on manual therapies and the amount of 1:1 time therapists spend with you. I have gone to physical therapy in the past but my experience with Abide has been infinitely better! I originally started going in hopes to avoid meniscus surgery in my knee and very quickly felt relief. I ended up receiving treatment for my shoulder and pelvic floor as well, and all has been very effective. I would definitely recommend Abide!

Dr. Michelle is amazing! First off, it was very quick and easy to book an appointment which was a big deal to me considering how much pain I was in. Dr. Michelle does a thorough evaluation and educated me the entire way through my PT sessions. I was dealing with chronic neck and back pain and she found the root of my issue. If you ever felt like you weren’t heard or understood from a provider, go to Dr. Michelle! She listened to what I was saying and truly cared without a doubt.

Dr Michelle was excellent. She taught me how to do self care at home for my tennis elbow.

Dr Michelle has been fantastic! She diagnosed a tight scapula muscle that affected my whole right side, including my shoulder. She's been able to free it up through massage and manipulation and gave me simple home exercises to keep it limber.

Of the number of physical obstacles I’ve faced this past year (as a Jiu Jitsu coach and competitor), that Dr. Michelle has helped me with… my lower back injury was the worst and terrified me beyond measure. I waited a bit longer than I should have, hoping it would repair itself… it didn’t. I had nearly accepted my life was going to change, in a terrible way… But once I saw Dr. Michelle, she had different plans for me.
Within two weeks and a prescription of direction and exercises from Dr. Michelle, I was right as the rain. I have suffered with chronic pain (CRPS) for 18 years. I have seen every specialist, and have had every procedure known to man with absolutely no relief in my symptoms. The past 1-2 years has been filled with frustration and hopelessness as I watched my symptoms worsen and affect my quality of life. I have worked with Michelle professionally (being a healthcare provider myself), and after learning that she addresses chronic pain, I thought I would give it a go. I am now 2 visits in, and have seen 50-60% improvement in my pain and feel like I have my life back! There are still more things to work on, but I am filled with so much hope in my future. I have been diagnosed with Meniere's Disease and have had episodes for almost
25 years. This past January and February I had recurring episodes that were more frequent and intense than ever before.
Once these subsided I instead had episodes of dizziness 4-5 times a week for an hour and a half. I went to doctors, had an MRI, took meds, but nothing worked.
Finally, I was introduced to Abide Physical
Therapy. I was reluctant at first because I worried that it could make my dizziness worse. But during the first appointment the therapist asked many questions and dug deep. Abide Physical Therapy has been a shining star in the world of help for both of my children. We are dealing with EDS, POTS and myasthenia gravis with young adults.
