I have two points -
First, I called on Monday about a problem with my air conditioner leaking. The person I spoke to was great and said she would try to get someone there on Monday to look at the problem - and that they would call either way - whether or not they were coming. So, she did call later that day to say that they couldn't make it Monday but would try again on Tuesday and they would call to let us know. Which brings me to my first point - they didn't call on Tuesday. I happened to look out the window at 7:45 in the morning and saw their truck pull into my driveway. I usually try not to let anyone besides family see me in my pajamas and I had been up and just about ready to get dressed when the repairman came - a quick call even 3 minutes before he got here would have avoided this situation - that's something the repairman can't unsee! Second, after diagnosing the problem, it turned out to be that when the air conditioner was installed by this same company a couple of years ago they apparently used an incorrect circuit breaker and that was what caused the problem. It concerns me somewhat whether any damage was done to the system by not having the correct breaker installed. The repairman appears to have done an excellent job of replacing it, and I am interested in finding out whether the charge for this visit is covered by a warranty - it seems like it should be if they used the wrong part! But, bottom line is that the repairman seemed very competent and got things up and running - which is what we needed.
