The Goddard School

My child started at Goddard almost 1 year ago. He has eczema and food allergies. His eczema improved significantly after switching to Goddard, I suspect it’s thanks to their sanitation practices.

They’ve been very accommodating of his food allergies and they have very good food allergy awareness in general.

Additionally, the instructors have all been so great. My child really seems to like them all and he’s been learning a lot.

We loved the Goddard school of Hanover. My daughter excelled there. The teachers were amazing, sincere, and knowledgeable. The 2 and half years we were enrolled gave us peace of mind and excitement about her education and development. We always recommend the Goddard School to friends and family.

Loved this school for my child. From toddler to pre-k, we moved states and she never lost a beat between schools. I love this franchise and the curriculum was excellent to prepare my child for kindergarten.

I love the Goddard School. My kid has really really blossomed. The teachers and staff are always very attentive and kind. They really care about the kiddos and about making a difference.

We love this Goddard school. The teachers and care providers truly care about the children and the front office staff is competent and quick to resolve and help with administrative issues. I love Goddard School Hanover MD, is the best place to start the journey for your little. They have an amazing staff you can trust.

Very professional staff. I believe my son’s teacher goes above and beyond. She helped him out with potty training and keeps me updated. I trust that when I drop my child off in the morning he is in good hands.

I have truly valued our experience at The Goddard School, and we will certainly miss it. My only concern is that the diversity and overall quality of the staff seem to have declined over time. I have spoken with other parents who cited this as a reason for leaving. Ultimately, we stayed because the schedule and proximity were convenient, and our son formed meaningful friendships there.

We moved our daughter to this school last month after spending 6 months fighting with the childcare on fort meade. Its been 2 weeks and there's a night and day difference in her behavior. She's happier, calmer, more articulate, more playful... the environment at Goddard is so much less stressful for her. Her teachers seem to genuinely want to be there. Theyre constantly engaging with the kids, which is the opposite of our experience on base. Is it a little more expensive? Yeah. About 500 bucks more per month. But its so worth it. They even send home daily reports that are detailed with pictures and times. We wish we would have chosen them sooner!

The Goddard School, in Hanover, is an excellent facility, with a fantastic staff, a wide variety of programs and processes for the students to stay engaged, and provides great value for its cost!

My son has been attending the Goddard School in the Infant Room for the past year, and we have been incredibly happy with our experience! The love, care, and thoughtful activities they provide each day truly stand out. The teachers treat him like their own, and it shows—he is always excited to see them!
They’ve done an amazing job helping him get into a routine and consistently communicate with my husband and me, which gives us so much peace of mind. It truly feels like they’ve become an extension of our family.
We are especially grateful for Ms. Christina, Ms. Katherine, Ms. Gigi, Ms. Zamira, and Ms. Tori. Each of them goes above and beyond, and their care and dedication mean so much to us. These ladies are all wonderful, and we couldn’t recommend them more highly!

Our family has been part of The Goddard School in Hanover for the past two years, with two children enrolled, and we are truly grateful for such a positive experience. From the very beginning, the environment has been warm, welcoming, and consistently supportive. The curriculum is engaging, well-structured, and thoughtfully planned, and we love the weekly specials that make learning fun and exciting for the children.

The teachers have been nothing short of amazing. They are kind, knowledgeable, and intentional about creating learning experiences that meet each child where they are.

I cannot emphasize how much we loved our time at Goddard. I could always trust that my son would be taken care of as I knew all of his teachers genuinely cared. The owners, directors, and staff truly create an amazing atmosphere for making learning fun. Between the extracurricular activities, the family events, and the little everyday things (like lofi playing in the lobby lol), I knew we couldn’t have found a better school for our son to begin his academic journey. Thank you thank you thank you! Shoutout to Ms. Carmen, Ms. Kennesha, Ms. Lori, Ms. Jade, Ms. Melvise, Ms Christina, and the rest of the Goddard Hanover team. We will miss you tremendously.

They display an excellent level of care, respect, attention to detail, and educational focus, making them well worth the cost.

This particular Goddard location was a pleasure to be a part of for the past 3 years. The curriculum is engaging and fun, and I’ve seen my child grow in confidence and social skills. I cherish the pictures they sent me of my child gardening, doing science activities, art, food crafts, writing, playing, there is no doubt they get the kids excited about the many wonders of the world. The facilities are secured, modern, clean, and kept, and the outdoor play facilities are well maintained as well. A big thank you to Ms. Amanda for being the sweetest first teacher to my daughter, she’ll always be remembered. And another thank you to owner Melvise, for making the school blossom into something special during our time here. We were lucky to be a part of it!

The Goddard School qualified staff provides a Clean, Safe and Structured Learning environment for my child, partnered with accommodating my child’s learning needs.
The School consistently provide effective and interactive communication to parents. Very prompt with communicative responses.
My child’s loves his teachers and friends, as a parent I couldn’t ask for a better learning environment and school for my child.

Melvise and the entire Goddard staff were phenomenal to deal with and very accommodating after we left another facility due to poor care and founded allegations of abuse by the state.

We never worried about our child's care under Goddard and felt our child's development improved greatly under their guidance. I would highly recommend this facility compared to others in the area.

We had a great experience as parents of a student who attended Goddard. The school and classroom environment are conducive to learning. The communication between the leadership team, teachers, and families was effective and responsive. Also, the day balanced play and structured learning, which we loved! We also appreciated the thoughtfulness of the monthly calendar of learning and fun activities that included diversity and inclusion of all holidays and identities families may value.

Love Goddard of Hanover! My child has thrived under their care—I've seen amazing growth in social skills, creativity, and overall happiness. I love the daily updates and photos that keep me connected with my child’s day. The staff here are exceptional—always friendly, attentive, and genuinely invested in the well-being and development of the children. Highly recommended!!!

This is definitely a place of nurturing and educating for my son. I have not had any issues with the school. Staff is respectable and very good with communicating with me, I never have a worry with my son being in their care.

We have been part of the Goddard family for a few years now and what I have noticed is the following:
1) Everyone on the staff truly cares about each of the kids they are teaching.
2) The teachers are actually teaching lessons that are age appropriate in a way that makes kids want to come back for more.
3) When there is an opportunity for improvement it's identified and remedied quickly. Not that there have been many but the urgency in which the staff acts to ensure the best possible experience for every child is second to none.
4) The parents are engaged and when this is coupled with an engaged staff the results are extremely positive for the kids as well as the families.
