The Goddard School

I absolutely love Goddard Lake Forest for my son. As a parent, I want the best for him and believe me, I’ve done my research in looking for the right school. This school exceeds my expectations with their faculty, curriculum, and cleanliness of their classrooms and playground areas. I appreciate how much they genuinely care about my son. At drop off, I can see how kind and truly excited his teachers and the other faculty are to start their day with him.

I specifically love his teachers. The activities they create for the kids are amazing and I know he is getting the opportunity to learn in the best possible environment. I also appreciate his teachers taking the time to send me so many pictures of him during the day. It makes me feel included. His teachers always give me an update on his day at pickup as well. The Goddard family is truly one of a kind. This school is a 25 minutes drive for us but we're willing to make the trek. We fell in love with the admin team and teachers when my older daughter joined their pre-school program (age 3). She (now age 6) still talks about her experience with the teachers and all the wonderful kinds she learned. The facility is clean, inviting, and well-maintained. We now have our youngest daughter (age 3) who is just having the time of her life.

My child just hit her 1 year mark with The Goddard School and I could not be more happier with her progress. Ms. Maria showers her class with love and kindness. My baby looks forward to seeing her everyday. When problems do arise she spends time talking with me so we are both on the same page which is greatly appreciated. I love all the STEM activities they do weekly, this kiddo loves science and I know that is one of the reasons why. I look forward to watching her grow at Goddard.

We were all sad when my daughter graduated last year but thankful we still get to see everyone we love since my son is still there :)

Our daughter loves it here! They do a great job communicating with parents as well. We appreciate the 7:30-5:30 hours and responsiveness of the school.

Our daughter has spent two truly meaningful years at The Goddard School, and we feel incredibly fortunate to have been a part of this nurturing community. A special mention goes to Ms. Lana, who we believe is the gem of The Goddard School. We absolutely love her and always look forward to her warm greetings every morning. Goddard has been a family to us and our two daughters for the last 7 years. Our oldest began when she was 2 and our youngest began at the age of 1. It's bittersweet as our youngest has just officially transitioned to TK this school year forcing us to say goodbye to Goddard. This was an extremely challenging goodbye as Goddard has been the village of support that has helped to raise our girls. From the leadership to the individual teachers in the classroom, there couldn't be a better team of caring individuals. They all have made such an impact on the day to day growth that our daughters have achieved, both educationally and emotionally. The quality of the education, the staff, and the facilities are top notch. Even more so with the new playground renovations (early 2024). I also really like how the actual school building is completely dedicated to the school and not shared with any other business tenants. My daughter has grown so much there during her 2+ years of attendance. She also has made so many new friends, which led to new friends even for the parents. :)

The Goddard School has been an incredible experience for my little one, who absolutely loves all the fun and exciting activities they offer. They just finished a splash day at school but there are so many wonderful activities such as gardening, painting, yoga, etc. The environment is warm and welcoming + everyone is so sweet and caring! The teachers are exceptionally attentive and always updates us. It's truly a wonderful place for children to learn and grow. I highly recommend!

We’ve been at Goddard for just over a month now after anxiously awaiting for a spot to open up for our toddler. We have really enjoyed our time thus far and appreciate the kindness, patience, and love from her teachers and front staff. I haven’t met a friendlier and communicative group of incredible women who are encouraging, so attentive and caring! We love seeing all the cool things she’s learning and receiving photos throughout the day of all the fun shea having. I can tell that they’re really taking the time to get to know my daughter and have been proactive in finding strategies to help her improve at her own pace. We look forward to seeing my daughter continue to thrive there!

Such an incredible school with the most wonderful staff and teachers. Our 3 year old son is excited every day about going to school and they have made his first school experience such an amazing one. I would recommend them to anyone and plan to send our daughter there when she is older as well.

It's a friendly and warm environment, all the staff are great at communicating with your little one and also they are loving, professional and positive.

We started my daughter at this wonderful preschool two years ago. She's graduating soon and I'm honestly sad to be leaving this school. I'm writing this review to give other families the benefit of our opinion after two years of experience.

I'm a fairly picky and particular parent/customer, because my husband and I both work full-time and we really needed a school that would make our lives easier as well as providing excellent education. This has to be one of the best-run preschools in the country. I never had a single complaint and have been beyond impressed with the love and dedication constantly shown by the teachers and the administration.

I regularly compared notes with my friends who had their kids enrolled at other nearby preschools and frequently found myself saying, "I'm so glad our school doesn't do that!" The way this school is managed...

Great facility and great staff. Our granddaughter really enjoys going to the school. Highly recommend this school!
