Midwest Recovery Centers Detox

I've been home a year now. My stay was very much needed for myself and my family. My drinking had gotten so out of control I felt hopeless. My family found Midwest Recovery for me. My daughter actually. She is a recovering addict. Clean for almost 8 years. I was so scared to go, but I agreed to. I found Midwest Recovery to be a God send. Every single employee there were very understanding and so supportive. The first couple of days are a bit foggy, but I never felt alone. I have highly recommended this center to some people that reached out to me about a family member. I can't say enough positive things. I have stopped by for a brief visit while with my husband was heading to a business meeting. I got to see 3 of my favorite people. I truly feel, for me, that knowing that almost everyone that worked there were recovering addicts. Drinking or otherwise. It made me feel that there was hope for me. When I arrived, I was scared that I would fail after coming home. The center had classes for most of the day with constant supervision. Someone was available to talk to at anytime of day or night if needed. All the classes and the special speakers in the evenings were extremely helpful for my recovery after leaving. I found a group that I go to regularly and the classes offered at Miswest Recovery basically taught how meetings work. I can go on and on. I feel that me coming to your center saved my life. I know I wouldn't have been strong enough to stop drinking on my own. I can't thank the recovery center and mostly the awesome amazing employees for truly caring about me. Lisa "Michelle" Callison
