I am currently caring for my 87 year old father, who has dementia. His sewer backed up into the basement due to a severe root blockage, and our insurance agent recommended Yellow Van. They were able to come out the same day this "disaster" happened and get my dad's basement cleaned and disinfected, which was a huge relief given my dad's age. When they arrived, my dad was quite startled (due to his dementia) and insisted on seeing what was being done in the basement. The cleaners were very kind, courteous, and patiently answered all of his questions, explaining exactly what they were doing until dad calmed down. One of them also said he had a family member with dementia, and so he understood the issue and was happy to accommodate dad's questions.
