Wirks Moving & Storage

Wirks Moving and Storage did a fantastic job moving us on Monday August 26. Our crew was Tim M, Jeffrey, Javier, Trent, Tim V, and Doug. It was actually two moves out of a big, 5 bedroom house into a small 2 bedroom rental with the bulk of the furniture and other belongings going to off-site storage. Wirks brought two trucks, loading up the house first then the one going to storage. The entire time, they were all extremely professional and courteous. They wrapped everything up to avoid damage and put down mats to protect the floors. The loading process took about three hours. We next drove to the rental where, after a quick lunch, they took about an hour to unload the first truck. Then on to the storage unit, which also took about an hour. Tim proved to be a master at stacking and arranging everything that we brought. I was afraid that it wouldn't all fit, but it did, thanks...

This move was very challenging and emotional for me.
I considered myself making realistic goals, for packing the household and hiring a moving company. Wirks came highly recommended by several realtors as well as a very close friend.
I was able have an in person estimate with Jim, less than 24 hours after the entail call. My fear is alway, that the price goes up, when they see your mess! Jim took the time to first find out how far my move was. He recommended taking over my own clothes, lamp sheds and pictures. I decided to move my dishes as well.
I asked for a packer to come 2 days before the move. Let’s face it, you know, when you are over it! 😡 🤪. Because I had A LOT of boxes, of all sizes, Jim said that the packer can use my boxes.That equals a win, win! When I use my “Girl Math”, that justifies a new pair of shoes 😂.

Hardworking and efficient - wonderful team effort. It began with an on-site call with Jim Bennett (which in my opinion is essential to a good move) and continued communications up through moving day. On moving days, Chuck was an effective leader who communicated well with both me as the client and with his team. Christian, Ty and KD were just a pleasure.

Best part . . . I've completely unpacked and there's not one broken item. Great investment in our moving experience and I would easily recommend Wirks to anyone.
