Windhaven Academy

We have been at Windhaven for over 2 years and have loved our experience. The administration and teachers are extremely attentive and always listen to any feedback I have to share. We came to Windhaven after being at another private center and have really appreciate the daily updates and photos we receive from all of his teachers. Something else we have appreciated over the years is the organic food and menu items Windhaven provides. Not all centers pay close attention to the food choices provided and I really appreciate Windhaven's policies when it comes to providing healthy meal choices. My child's current teachers are Miss Hope and Miss Makayla and they are the best my child has ever had at Windhaven. Both teachers exhibit extremely positive attitudes and we love all of the actives the children are working on daily. Thank you Windhaven for being a wonderful child care center!

We started our 1 year old at Windhaven when I went back to work when she was 3 months, and Ms Janell and Ms Angela were great! She is now with Ms Euna and Ms Natalie and she gets so excited to see them both. We also transitioned our toddler from another daycare and Ms Nia made him feel so welcomed. He now loves going to Ms Sarah and Ms Summer’s class.

Ever since my son has been attending Windhaven, he has thrived! He loves going to school. I feel confident sending him knowing that he is good hands and well cared for. Ms. Hope and Ms. Makayla are so warm and kind to my son. My son loves them so much that he wants them to come to our house after school. Windhaven is a great school and you can tell the children are in great hands.

My son has been going here for over a year. I absolutely love everything and everyone here. His teachers Ms Makeyla and Ms Hope are the best!! My son loves it here. Is always excited to come every day.

This place has been the greatest blessing to me and my family. As most moms, I struggled to find a daycare that felt like a right fit for my child. I toured a lot of daycares and could not find the right fit. Once I toured Windhaven I immediately knew that it was the right place. The staff is so warm and welcoming. They keep you updated and informed throughout the day with notes and photos. The place is SO CLEAN. All the teachers are SO knowledgeable, accommodating and make you feel like your kid is the only kid in the class. My son started here in August of 2023 and as first time mom it is scary to leave your kid at daycare but the staff here make me feel so at ease. My son has absolutely THRIVED here and I am indebted to the teachers and staff at Windhaven (Janell Owens, Angela Yerena, Natalie Neblett, Euna Jeong, Beverly Sharir, and SO MANY OTHERS)

As a parent and employee of Windhaven I have to share how much we LOVE Windhaven! Mrs. Janell and Mrs. Angela are so loving to my baby boy it makes me feel so much better knowing he’s safe, happy and cared for! Mrs. Assia continues to show how much she cares for the kids here at Windhaven with healthy meals, being onsite most of the time and the way she cares for her employees and students! Windhaven offers a level of care that other daycares simply can’t and we love it here!

There is so much to say… Windhaven Academy has given this first time mom so much support, security, and comfort! My daughter started attending at 5 months old and Ms. Janell and Ms. Angela made my transition back to work and my daughter’s experience wonderful. I trust all the staff and they do a wonderful job taking care of all the children. Now that my daughter is in Ms. Natalie’s and Ms. Euna’s class she continues to increase her development and loves playing with her friends. She even gets super excited to see them every morning! Thank you all for making my husband and I comfortable and life easier! You all are the best!

Of the 6 childcare centers that my kids have attended over the last 7 years, Windhaven Academy was by far the best facility we had the pleasure of attending. Starting with the director/owner, Assiah. She brought her vision to life in the childcare. It is clean, beautifully designed, and thoughtfully structured for parents. She is warm and nurturing with the kids but holds a very strong level of professionalism, which I greatly appreciated. Many of the caregivers are also parents, and it shows. They give the children love and comfort as if they were their own. There are many activities and visitors hosted at the school to keep the curriculum engaging and fresh for the kids. They post frequent updates to the child’s daily journal, complete with cute pictures and personal notes from the teacher. They even have a computer lap for the older students to get a head start on keyboard and...

I've been at Windhaven Academy for about two years and it has been a great experience. The teachers and the admin staff really do love the kids. We have had unfortunate experiences with two daycare centers prior to starting here and I've never been nervous or uncomfortable when I drop my daughter off here. They respond in a timely manner to all communication and they keep us updated consistently on the app. Whenever I've had any type of question or concern, it has been addressed immediately and I've been satisfied with the actions/responses. I know my daughter is safe and cared for here.
