I don’t have enough good things to say about this school! My daughter is in the 2 year old classroom, Mrs.Cindy and Ms.Victoria have become such a big part of my daughters life. They love her and treat her like their own. I get updates and photos throughout the day that help me feel more at ease. I highly recommend this preschool, the teachers are amazing, Ms. Maddie, Ms. Celia and Ms. Karla are definitely amazing teachers. The school is clean, well organized and they really care for the wellbeing of my child. I moved my daughter recently from another preschool due to violence. Finding WPA was a lifesaver!!!! My daughter has been in three or four of the classes at WPA. Every teacher has been great. They all know who she is when we walk in in the mornings. My daughter has learned so much from being there and has loved the connections she has made. She has grown academically and I have seen her self confidence shoot up over the past year and a half. I love this school so much. My son switched from daycare to WPA at just about 3 and it was the best thing I have ever done for him. Every day each teacher gives the children a creative, fun day full of learning, socializing and play. My son has had Dakota Williams, Karla Burgos, Maddie Krainiak and Celia Donovan as teachers, along with Staci Johnson and he loves them all so much. Each child is engaged throughout the day and learns important life skills along with reaching milestones according to their age group. We can’t say enough wonderful things about Wilmington Preschool of the Arts! We tried for years to enroll our son in a preschool in Raleigh, but the waitlists were so long and every option was SOOO expensive. After moving to Wilmington without knowing anyone, we enrolled our 3-year-old just days after arriving, and it was the best decision we could have made.

The teachers are absolutely amazing—so kind, nurturing, and genuinely invested in each child’s growth and happiness. I honestly can't single out just one teacher because they are all wonderful, but the Creative Cassatts and Petite Picassos teachers (plus all the awesome floaters) hold a special place in my heart, and have all, at one point or another, been my son's self-proclaimed "best friend"...high praise from any 3 year old!

Our kid loves this school! It’s small, so she knows all of the teachers and they are all wonderful. WPA is warm, inclusive, and full of people who clearly love working with children. They have art, music, and soccer every week, lots of play time, and just the right amount of academics. Can’t recommend it enough. Read more >
