Way of Escape Folsom

We had a lot of fun as a family varying in age (3-54). The guide was super helpful and patient with us. Highly recommend!!

Very low quality experience and over-all vibe at this shopping center location. I’m not sure how this place has so many 5 star reviews, but in my opinion it’s not accurate.

We did the gingerbread house and had such fun! Our first escape room and we are looking forward to the next one. Mr Mike was awesome, knowledgeable and fun! Give that man a raise!

I had no idea what to expect in an escape room. I was definitely the weakest link in my group. lol. Our group had so much fun and we are still talking about it. Mike was our guide and just wonderful. The axe throwing was pretty great too. Going back soon to perfect my new skill!

The husband and I had a BLAST. We love escape rooms, and have done at least a dozen over the past few years. We did "The Cure" and was able to make it out in the 60 minutes. Then we had added on axe throwing. Out first time doing that. It was a lot of fun even though I did not do well with the axe. That just means I'll have to go back and practice! Great place!

We have done all the escape rooms and axe throwing here and there is a reason we kept going back! We loved the service, the rooms, the puzzles, the fun! Love that the escape rooms have never been dark or evil themed. One time our room had a malfunction and the owner apologized personally and offered us a refund or a credit to come back. We chose to go back because we knew they were genuinely sorry (the mishap wasn't there fault, it was a random accident) and we knew we wanted to keep supporting them. Ax throwing was a blast as well! I think the only suggestion/ comment I would make it that the lane for the ax throwing seemed a bit shorter than some others but for most people probably isn't an issue. We recommend this place to all our friends who are interested in escape rooms.

Bomb squad is not worth the money they charge. It is just a table top game they place in a single room. Painted the walls black and then slapped a price tag in it to call it an escape room. We were all huddled around one object in the room the entire time. They didn’t even bother to remove the price tag off the prop stools they had in the corner.

This game isn’t even something they built themselves. It was clearly a game they purchased online. The one time my group attempted to ask for a hint our game master was not at our game. We could hear him in the lobby with another group. (something like this is not his fault and is definitely the fault of the manager or owner since the game master didn’t have the choice of running two games at once.)

While we still had plenty of time left on the clock our game ended early because we got one detail wrong on a puzzle...
