Must try for you roast beef lovers, perfect portions for any sandwich/grinder lover. Lobster roll is amazing also!

pricey and the quality is just not good. I ordered a chicken cutlet sandwich, which was not good. They chicken cutlet was diced up, the hard roll was soggy, the lettuce yellow and very soft. the best part of the meal was the bottle of soda. Will not be going back

Finally had a chance to try Vinny's and will definitely be going back. Ordered the Alligator and was not disappointed. The menu has a little bit of everything for everyone.

Had an Italian combo. Half the amount of meat there used to be. Not a fan any longer. Probably won't be going back.

Picked up 2 bowls of venison chili, yesterday. Disgusting. Probably I should have been told that they were all out because what I received was literally scraped from the bottom of the cooker. Disgusting. Also, I was overcharged. When I realized that I was overcharged I called and spoke to Ellen. She gave me a lame excuse about an item was on the register that rung up by mistake with my order. She did take down my name to credit me next time. But I will not be going back. I have been going to Vinny’s for years and this is NOT my first disappointing experience. There’s no excuse for below par food and service. Vinny charges top dollar. NO MORE!

I've been looking for a solid sandwich shop in the Wallingford area for a little while now, and my curiosity was peaked when I found Vinny's Roast Beef and Deli online. The reviews seemed positive, and it looked promising.

The interior of the place is about what you'd expect (aside from a fixation on Elvis, which I wasn't able to connect to roast beef sandwiches. Did Elvis like roast beef?), and everything was clean and well maintained. The staff was super friendly and gets an A from me.

The menu boards are a little busy, and several of the sandwiches seem too similar to each other for them to necessitate two separate menu items. None of this is super important though.

I was in the mood for a chicken cutlet sandwich, but the deli is apparently known for roast beef, so I ended up ordering both to see if they lived up to the hype.
