We used to visit this cafe several years ago before they expanded to enjoy their delicious soups and sandwiches. This was my first visit since their much deserved expansion. The French onion soup was pretty good but their butternut squash bisque is a bit better. The roasted turkey with apples, brie, and their homemade dijon on a baguette is exceptional and very tough to be beat. Conversely, the burger special that was recommended by the server instead of the croque madame was just awful. The burger was ordered medium rare and it came out burnt to an unimaginable degree. I was actually shocked that it left the kitchen without being redone. It totally ruined what would've been a delicious burger with thick bacon, brie, and caramelized onion jam.
