They sent anon English speaker, with no work order, no business card. The guy spent less than an hour. Left without a report. Later a roofer, with flyer, a business card, and a work order went up found damage and unfinished work, he repaired and completed the job, explained what he did, and told me the certification would be emailed later that day. I paid a reasonable price for the work and certification. Several days later I got a threatening phone call demanding that I pay $1166 for the 47 minutes that their guy worked on my roof. I tried to explain that their certification was not needed, and a second roofer had to complete the unfinished job. "we know where you live, and we'll keep calling until you pay." I felt bullied. I don't recommend that anyone hire this dishonest scamming company.

I gave 2 stars as they did finish the job. The one group I was very satisfied with was the men in who removed and then reinstalled my solar panels. There were problems with it but they were on top of making sure it was done right. As for the rest of UEC......forget about it. On the initial day of signing the contract, I was assured that all work was done by their employees (in speaking with solar people I discovered that wasn’t true). I was also told by Luis Mayoral and Luis Espinoza that if any problems arose to call them. Luis E said while he wouldn’t be here with the workers, he would be checking in. Luis M went so far as to tell me he would be the project manager.....neither was true The day the solar panels were to be removed I waited half an hour past the 2 hour window given to me. What set Jesse apart from all the other companies, was his straight forward approach and no hidden cost plan he presented us. He gave us a clear timeline, clear understanding of the rebates included and did sway us the way other companies were by saying “they’ll give us a, b, c for free” We really appreciated the honesty. The crew would come everyday on-time and work quickly and neatly, they were in and out within days and we were completely satisfied. We refer them to anyone looking to do solar in their home.
