TruBBQ Catering

We were very happy with our meal. We ordered- jerk chicken, salmon, roasted green beans and garlic mashed potatoes. The jerk chicken was fantastic and flavorful. The salmon had a great kick with mango and habanero chutney. The roasted green beans and garlic potatoes are Delicious. I would order all these items again. Good job!

I have to say that this was one of the best catering experiences I have had. The owner was so nice and helpful. We had plenty of food for everyone. You know how sometimes with caterers the food gets cold, well not this one it was the perfect temperature and taste! I am definitely going to recommend them to everyone I know. If you want good food and service they won’t let you down! :)

Working with the Tru BBQ team was amazing. Our party wasn't huge, but large enough to warrant catering (100 guest). From the beginning, the owner, helped us understand how much food we needed and the best options to meet the dietary needs of all our guest. The food was amazing. I received compliments and request for who our caterer was all night, which is what every host wants to hear. The team was professional and provided takeaway containers for the extras. I would definitely use TruBBQ again, and encourage those considering a caterer to give them a try. Did I mention the food was amazing (we had the brisket, chicken (the show stopper) and the salmon, which went fast if thats saying something. Thanks TruBBQ

I have personally used Alvin and his staff several times. I am a barbecue lover, and always look for the best in the bay area. He not only smokes some of the best meat, but also makes several other dishes that I have had the opportunity of enjoying. He is always the preferred caterer for work as well as home. I appreciate all the options that he gives us and make sure that we are 100% satisfied and pleased with his service. Several events he has cater for us, but one in particular sticks out. We needed a last-minute caterer for an event, and he was able to come through and crunch time. He exceeded all expectations. The food was wonderful and the staff he had serving was excellent. We even had enough food for family and friends to take home. Highly recommend!

I couldn’t have found a better caterer for my 80th birthday party. The food was amazing and it was so easy. Of all of the caterers I interviewed TruBBQ was not only the best but the most reasonably priced. Don’t hesitate to include them in all of your party plans.

We had the most wonderful experience with Alvin and TRU bbq! They catered our sons wedding this last weekend and everything was delicious and perfect!! The brisket and apricot chicken were so tasty and I personally fell in love with the lemon pepper wings!! I could eat them every day. Working with Alvin was such a pleasure as well, from the very first phone conversation to the day of the event. He has a heart of gold and is one of the most genuine and kindest gentleman. I feel like we not only had great food for the wedding but made a friend in the process. I highly recommend TRU bbq for any event! You won’t be disappointed!

The food is incredible. Alvin takes such care in the preparation and presentation it's amazing. I knew my people were impressed ....they got to eating straight away and went back for seconds and thirds.

TruBBQ catered our work event in American Canyon. The food was amazing, Alvin was so nice and so easy to work with. You can taste the smoky delicious flavor in their meat, it was some of the best REAL BBQ, I have ever had! Highly recommend.

Professional, timely, prepared. Absolutely delicious foods. Only regret was not ordering more brisket. Favorite of everyone at the party.
