This people are liers they tell you one price and they charge way more they told us that we were going to pay $2000 and they charge my aunts credit card over $4000 think twice about calling this people to move your stuff they also told us that it was going to few days for our things to get to our destination and it took them weeks always and excuse when they finally arrived only 2 movers came at 10pm my had to call family members for help this people are the worse they are SCAMMERS WATCH OUT FOR THIS PEOPLE.

Well how do I start.......they are not people of their word for start.My move suppose to have started on July 1st it was postponed until the following day on Tuesday and of course they were several hours late,the movers did a wonderful job of packing my small 1 bedroom apartment up and were courteous wish the office staff was like that. I was given an estimated time that my things would be in NC from NY by that Sunday the 7th, let me mention that directly after the move I was hospitalized for several days, I spoke with Linda in the office on the 7th she advised me that it’s a grace period and with the 4th of July (I’ve seen plenty of trucks on holidays even Christmas didn’t really understand that excuse),so the window for delivery would be Tuesday 7/9/19- 7/12/19..........surprise surprise it’s 7/11/19 and everyday I get the run around we’re figuring out logistics blah blah blah,well...

DO NOT TRUST LINDA HAGGERTY. Also, 5-star reviewer Eli Avgi is a relative of Gavriel and easy to find & contact on Instagram if Gavriel hasn’t gotten back to you. He thinks it’s creepy that his home address can be found on Google but it’s ok for him to repeatedly lie and cheat you. They were delayed in delivering my items by 12 days - even after picking up our stuff on 4/29 for a 6/1 delivery. He will tell you the truck broke down on its way to you. He will tell you he will give you a discount. DO NOT BELIEVE ANYTHING HE SAYS. I’m missing numerous boxes as well as items stolen out of boxes, including my power drill, staple gun, mitre saw, pantry items, thousands of dollars worth of fragrances and beauty products, my stool cushion (not the stool just the cushion), and I’m not even done unpacking yet. I’ve emailed them to file a claim and no response. Let’s not forget that the final...

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY THEY LIE!!! THEY BROKE A PEICE OF MY FURNITURE BACK IN JANUARY AND ALMOST TWO MONTHS LATER IT IS STILL BROKEN AND NOT FIXED AS PROMISED. I HAVE SAT HOME THREE TIMES WAITING FOR SOMEONE TO SHOW UP AT MY HOME TO BRING THE NEW GLASS FOR MY CABINET AND NO ONE EVER SHOWS. BEWARE BEFROE USING THIS COMPANY YOU WILL GET EXACTLY WHAT YOU PAY FOR A HEADACHE

Quoted for 3 hours, took them 3 hours, charge me 5 hours and claimed that it's a 5 hour job but only took them 3. They gave me a bs $45 refund and I called back and complained and they said they would only refund me another $60. This was over a month ago and still have not received my refund. On top of that, they're now dodging phone calls. I would avoid this company. The point person I dealt with the whole time was Linda Haggerty.

Arnold, Mike, PJ and William did a great job,
carefully packing and moving my furniture. They are professional, courteous, hardworking and innovative guys. I would hire them again and highly recommend this company. Linda and Gavriel were most helpful. Their prices are reasonable and services are excellent!!! Thank you for making moving so much easier.

I was hesitant to leave a review, but the rest of the future customers should know. I have contacted the office numerous times to discuss missing items. Not only did they show up way later than supposed to, I explained to Linda and Gabriel that there was an important box missing, it contained an iPhone 7 Plus, an iPhone watch and a jar of over $300 in quarters. I had advised the men not to even take it in which they did, and unfortunately with all the commotion going on, it at that point was the last thing on my mind. I had explained that there were other issues such as the damaged walls and ceiling and the damaged furniture as well, but being I have a crew of construction workers that work on my investment houses that would not be necessary to worry about damage, but I need my items replaced. I had spoken to Linda numerous times and Gabriel 2 times and was assured they would...

From my initial conversation with Linda in the office, to the last piece of furniture removed from the truck, Tri-State Area movers were exceptional! The crew of Marcus, Arnold and Marley were both highly professional and extremely efficient in moving some very heavy, real wood bedroom pieces. They worked hard and were a joy to deal with. I really enjoyed their ability to smile and laugh at each other while they worked. The job was done within the time quoted and I highly recommend Tri-State Area movers to anyone looking for a fair and reasonable moving company.

I've used this company 1 year ago and I called them again for a last-second move and they were able to give me a move for the next day. The whole move went smoothly and the workers were great again. Love this company.
