Travel Divas

I love Travel Divas because of the professionalism from day one. Whenever I had a question while planning my trip I would notify the Travel Divas office with a rapid response from a member of the customer service team who cleared up any concerns I had. From the Client Experience Coordinator to the Customer Service team I always felt well taken care of. It was very special to hear from CEO Shanterria herself. The discount given at the start followed by an added discount towards the end of my payments was very much appreciated! Those were the first 2 surprises followed by the 2 special Diva Gift Boxes. For my first trip I wasn’t sure what to expect .
I loved the hotel , top tier . Great service .
Our tour guide Mehul and his driver was really good . We had a bit of a scare on one trip where the driver appeared to be tired and was swerving but that was quickly remedied with a stop at the rest area and everyone stretching their legs .
The hosts Sandra and Kenya - for a while it seemed one was doing too much and the other one not engaged enough . I later found out that Sandra was our main host and Kenya was in training . Kenya will need to be more involved . She had some challenge with the walking and at times Sandra was the one you would see . I think continued coaching and guidance for Kenya and hopefully she will be more visible and will make her presence seen on the trip. She did better towards the end of the trip with being more interactive .

Overall my first trip with TD was a success. A few things I would however change is the time spent in Geneva. The smaller, quaint towns gave more of the Switzerland vibe I was looking for. I also didn't care for the location of karaoke, the cook your own meal,and the watch museum tour was boring in my opinion. I wished the trip allowed for a day of free time in each location to explore on your own. I did enjoy both host and tour guide. Everyone was friendly and very helpful. I plan on taking future trips with TD. Thanks for an overall great trip to Switzerland!

Overall this trip experience was amazing. The local tour guide was pleasant, knowledgeable, fun and made sure the red carpet was rolled out at every location. There were a few communication issues that should be addressed, but it wasn’t severe enough to ruin this amazing experience.

Overall wonderful! I only wish that no matter WHAT country we visit that we learn about how BLACK people contributed to that country. Considering we are a group of Black Excellence. We should be going to countries to learn about US not other people because most of the time the history is lies and watered down. Not to mention, the contributions that black people made have been stripped and stolen from other people. All were doing is going to these countries and learning about the perpetuated lies. We went into the the Chapel and the Historian told a bold face untruth and said that WE would not be "here" had it not been for some colonizer when in all actuality, you cannot discover a place that was already inhabited by people of color. I understand Europe is a predominantly white country but I'm sure Travel Divas could've squeezed in at least ONE tour to show how WE helped...

Everything came together in the Universe for us to have a once in a lifetime experience. I am still basking in the glow of this wonderful experience. The celestial scenery, delicious dining experiences, organization, new experiences like the Zodiac Ride, wild fun activities, and the harmonious camaraderie of our group. The wonderful surprise of receiving the luxury gifts in the mail before to our Expedition made us feel very special. I have visited 45 countries and 6 Continents prior to this trip, and for me it's Antarctica and the others.

Review of Travel Divas South of France Tour (September 21st-29th, 2024)
The South of France Tour was an enjoyable experience with notable highlights and areas for improvement. The smaller group size created a more intimate travel experience.
Trip Highlights:
Visiting Monaco during Yacht Week was spectacular—a potentially unplanned but exciting addition. The St. Tropez tour and swimming in the Mediterranean in Nice were memorable. Our travel guide, Sheila, was a particular standout. Her exceptional spirit, patience, and overall demeanor made the journey truly special. She embodied what every tour operator should aspire to be—a genuine joy to travel with.
Areas of Opportunity:
Hotel Misrepresentation-

Utterly amazing! They were well warm, welcoming, and most importantly ORGANIZED

The overall experience was good. The first portion of the trip which began in Cape Town was too many days. The welcome done was fabulous and my expectations was to continue with cultural activities. Three vineyards is too many, when there are other places that could have been added such as the District 6 museum and Lange Township. Spending a day In Johannesburg to visit the Apartheid Museum is a great option as well. Zimbabwe and Botswana was fabulous! As always, the trip hosts Cherie and Shannika were fabulous!!!!!
