"Embracing change and letting go of old plans allows for new possibilities!'

While this quote is anonymous, it speaks to my first Travel Divas experience. I have been waiting to sojourn to Paris with a group of my very good friends, but it never materialized for a number of valid reasons. Having seen and closely followed the Travel Divas site, I began thinking this might be the route to realize a promise made to my Mom and late husband. So, I took the leap--albeit with some trepidation--and decided to join this excursion. And it's one of the best decisions I've ever made!

The level of organization, intentionality, commitment to a 5-star quality experience, and the composition of the group made this an incredible trip. Being true to ourselves as unapologetically Black, accomplished, mature, creative, fun-loving women was so...

It was a wonderful travel experience traveling with the Travel Divas. I look forward to many more. Q and Yake were wonderful hosts and I would be so luck if I were to travel with them again when traveling with TD. Thank you!

My experience with Travel Divas was AMAZING. From the moment I arrived at the airport gate, everything was in their capable hands. Cam and Brandy were the most wonderful hosts- PLEASE continue to use them. They made our Amsterdam trip very special. And the customer service team was very responsive and fast in answering all of my questions (I ALWAYS have questions). The only suggestions I would make are:
1. Consider a pricing option for premium economy or business class for full package trips. Even though it would cost more, it would be nice to have that option in order to travel with the group. Introductions and bonding with the group happen during travel, which also makes the trip special.
2. If traveling with a roommate, add a line on the registration form to add the roommate's name and info. My boyfriend and I were traveling together, but our tickets and hotel...

Brandy and Cam were wonderful hosts, introducing them and us to each other. Taking the time to point out interesting facts but allowing our local hosts to shine. The pace of events was pure slow travel - enough hosted interesting moments but then enough to allow you time to explore. The only downside was making sure the more experienced players understood that if you are spinning off to do your own thing - you must inform your hosts. I would give a WhatsApp number so that if they are divergent from the planned activity it is noted here. Facebook doesn’t always connect but WhatsApp works everywhere and would alert all four key members.
I have created an experience with the Scotland board of tourism. I would welcome the opportunity to present it with them and create a new divas experience that I hope I can help host.

Our host, Danielle is the cream of the crop, she made sure she reminded us of the agenda for the day in detail. Her demeanour, humor, and graciousness and even her fashion let us know that we were in Paris and that she had us covered! Literally, on our field trips, she was in the back making sure no one was lost or left behind on her watch!!!! I know this because I taught K-2 and when we went in field trips as educators we did the same thing. Thank you Danielle, your care for us was genuine. You made my first Paris Trip glamorous and I felt extremely safe and cared for! Until the next time Diva!!!

Our local Paris guide, Nichol, was also fantastic. He was friendly, knowledgeable and funny . He made the tour even more enjoyable. The tour included sightseeing, culture, food, shopping, and free time. I would absolutely recommend Travel Divas, and I’m already looking forward to traveling with them again.

I love traveling with the divas because they organize the events on the ground and save me from doing what I’ve done for years, which was taken care of everything. They provide us with awesome hosts who take care of any issues if some of those plans have hiccups.

They also give me the opportunity to meet women from all over and experience Wonderful locations with them.

And I will say in meeting these wonderful black queens, I have learned that I’m not the only one that was the handler, the fixer the one that took care of everything. And that makes the trip even more enjoyable because we share those stories. Not to mention the intelligence level of these ladies and the things I have learned from them.
