TN Nursery

I found this website online as I was wanting to get some milkweed as I have a lot of monarch caterpillars. I ordered the milkweed and then reached out a few days later asking to cancel my order because I thought I’d ordered the wrong kind of milkweed and then after reading the reviews, I was hesitant to purchase anything. I reached out to customer service asking that my order be canceled and I read the Cancellation policy on the website, and it does say that you can cancel your order, it may be subject to a restocking fee. I did not receive a response on my initial email as I wanted to update my order, I was advised that couldn’t happen. Then I asked if I could cancel the order, received a response several days later, stating that they cannot cancel orders in the fall - they said nothing about the order being dug already. Nothing on the website states that you can’t cancel an order...

I thought your ad wasn't very clear. I was drawn in by the 2 for 1 special. The information for this special was unclear at best. Didn't realize you had to order 2 for the special.

I like their trees. Only issue with them is they are vey slow in sending the trees to me. Even when I enquire after sometime of ordering, only answer I got is we will email you when we ship. There will be no tentative dates provided. Most of other nurseries I ordered, their delivery window will be vey clear and prompt. I wish TN nursery follow same aprroach and send out the tree in a timely manner.

They don’t stand behind their plants.

I ordered 1 plant + get 1 free and they shipped 1 of the plant I bought and 1 random other plant. I called about the mistake, they told me to email. I emailed, they said "you got one of the right plant". I responded and they never did, so now I still only have one of the plant I wanted instead of two.

I ordered five Quaken Aspen trees from the TN nursery in mid-October, thinking there was plenty of time for them to ship them to me in Michigan before the ground freezes, as I planned to plant the trees in the fall.
I waited so long for the trees to show up that I actually forgot about them at one point, but a week and a half ago, TN Nursery sent me an email asking for a positive review of the products. I wrote back, wondering why they were never delivered, and I need to get them in the ground before it freezes. Someone emailed me back that they were sitting in a warehouse somewhere, not terribly reassuring. Finally, seven weeks after I paid for them, they showed up today with a note warning me that they must be planted immediately. Otherwise, they might not make it through to spring. Of course the ground is now frozen hard. I put them in a pot of soil and water and will hope...
