My daughter was here for a few months in 2017 in the preschool program. She has cough-variant asthma so I filled out the necessary forms & brought the doctor's instructions, which stated that she needs her inhaler at least 30 minutes prior to physical activity or going outside (whichever came first, w/ the medicine good for 4 hours). I also asked to be called if my daughter had any coughing fits, which indicate respiratory distress and an asthma attack for her.
Before Serendipity, my daughter was out of daycare for 3 years. In all of that time (in a different TX city) she had 1 asthma attack (caused by a cold) despite playing outside & getting daily exercise. During her time at Serendipity, she had SEVERAL attacks PER MONTH. Sometimes we'd have to go to the ER 2-3 times a week. Clearly something was wrong.
