The Goddard School

If you are able to get your child a spot in this facility, DO IT! The director Dani is the best human ever and truly cares about the kids in her care. She is quick to answer any questions or emails. My family moved from Florida to Texas and she happily did a FaceTime tour with me to show me around. My son went into the first steps classroom at 13 months old, never being in day care at the time and still on 2 naps. After just a few days in this school, my son was happily on one nap, sleeping peacefully on a nap mat! He has only slept in a sleep sack in a crib. Most recently they were able to wean him off his nap time pacifier. He has learned so much in the last couple of months and I am so grateful. The Goddard school of Katy has been part of my family's life since my daughter was 2 years old. She has learned so much and I felt safe leaving my child in the competent and loving teachers hands. All teachers knew my kid and most teachers have been there longer than my child has been there. The curriculum is geared towards easy transition for your child to get in the KISD school system. My kid is very well prepared to go to kindergarten in the Fall. And above all what was important is that my child loved and loves it there. My son who is in elementary school, attends their summer program for the bigger kids and he loves the field trips. He is always excited to go to their summer program. Overall, you will not regret enrolling your child at the Goddard school of Katy. It has been a fantastic, diverse, cultural, learning experience for our child and family.
