The Goddard School, Pflugerville, TX

As first time parents with a 6-month old in the infant classroom five days a week, my husband and I have extreme confidence with the Goddard School Pflugerville teachers, staff and management. Our son has been enrolled since he was 3 months and from the time we toured to present day we are greeted by name with personal touch. The daily photos, videos and report are appreciated during the transition and when we are missing our little guy. His classroom teachers are interactive and hands on with our son. We are pleased with the lessons, activities and time devoted to our child’s learning and growth. The teachers in other classrooms are also very kind and go out of their way to ensure they get to know my son. If there is a problem/issue I am notified immediately and we discuss resolution. Management has been a pleasure to work with from getting our son enrolled earlier than anticipated...

My 3 month old child attended the Goddard school for only 8 days before we withdrew her. She had a medical emergency while in their care, and they did not call EMS. I received a phone call that my infant had turned blue, stiffened up, and eyes rolled back in her head. Instead of calling 911 - they called me to ask if it had ever happened before. They even indicated when they called that it was an emergency. I ended up taking her to the hospital myself, where- long story short- she had a seizure.

I spoke with countless doctors and nurses who all indicated that 911 should have been called in this case.

While we were in and out of the hospital we were in communication with the owner, Ashok. We were never given an apology or a refund of unused tuition. In fact he stood by how his staff reacted to this situation and stated that’s how they are trained to handle...

Your program and collective work are a testament to shared values and leadership- a place where children, families, and teachers are respected and challenged to their highest potentials. Wow! Your environments, documentation, and interactions show a total integrity to the ideas of community, inquiry, hopefulness, joy, and beauty! I am inspired. You surely know the difference you are making in the lives of the children and families in your program; please also know the difference you are making far beyond as we take out learning back to our own communities.

My kids went to Goddard school for close to an year, they loved it there. What I like best is the personal touch, teachers give ample attention on each kid and the class is very bonded to each others and teachers. My kids still miss their friends and teachers and ask me to take them back. The facility is well maintained, Mr. Ashok manages the school very well and I was never worried about my kids there.

At two years old, we enrolled Andy, our son, in a Pre-K. While in that school, he always wanted “to go to my school” every day he woke up in the morning (even during summer break). The Goddard School was recommended to me by a fellow firefighter in the Austin Fire Department. My wife and I both work full time, so when we had our son Enzo he started very early, around 6 months old. It was especially difficult to entrust his care to strangers given that we are first time parents.

Almost two years later I can't tell you how blessed I feel to have The Goddard School (and particularly the new owner and staff) in our lives.
