The Goddard School of Herndon

I cannot say enough good things about the Goddard School of Herndon - our daughter has been attending for 1.5 years and looks forward to go to school every day. She loves the amazing teachers and staff who know each student by their name, who are caring, nurturing and have kids' best interests. The daily engagement is rich in educational and developmental activities, and all in a fun and energetic manner that keeps kids engaged, entertained and socialized. A special shout-out to Ms. Roya who has been amazing and who gets consistent compliments from our girl - as parents we couldn't be happier about our child feeling loved and cared for when we are at work.
The school has several gated playgrounds in its territory to get the share of physical exercise when the weather allows. We also feel safe with COVID protocols in place, the school is very clean and tidy, very nicely...

Our daughter has been attending Goddard for the last 16 months, and we love the school, first of all Goddard has a very robust curriculum and they tailored it to the specific needs of our daughter who does have a learning opportunity due to speech delays.
The Goddard teachers and the experienced support staff are very nurturing and kind while managing and maintaining discipline in the class.
But the end customer is my daughter, and she always looks forward to going to school, and I think she resents the weekends due to school not being in session :)
The Goddard management is very approachable and pays attention to details, they make it a point to get to know the families in addition to the child.
The facility is very well maintained, with the right amount of safety and sanitization protocols in place to keep our child safe during these COVID-19 days.

The Goddard is the best daycare any parents will love to take their kids. I have a very good experience and my kids so much love it here. My family loves The Goddard School. We transferred from a near by day care facility that questioned our son's development at roughly 2.5 years old. Goddard accepted him with open arms. He was fully potty trained after attending school for just 2 days and vocabulary flourished overnight. The daily classroom activites were enriching and just what he needed. After a few months at Goddard we couldn't believe how much he was talking/using his words and communicating with everyone. When people meet our son they can't believe he is only 3 years old. I enrolled my daughter in The Goddard School of Herndon after having unfavorable experiences at two other child care facilities in the area. I am a single mother working in the hospitality industry. Like many careers, there are times that unfortunately I need to leave my daughter in child care for long hours. Having her in a facility where I know she is receiving the best possible care is the most important factor that puts my mind at ease while I am working. I look at Goddard as an investment in my child’s cognitive, as well as, emotional development.
My decision to continue to enroll my daughter in this positive learning environment is made with confidence. The administrative office staff is there when you first arrive saying good morning to my daughter by name. We transferred to Goddard-Herndon due to its proximity to workplace in January. It has been 1 month, and my daughter has had a great experience so far. Teachers are caring and greet us every morning with smiles. based on what I hear from my daughter, I think their instruction and school work are individealized to each student' level. My daughter loves her teachers, her friends and the school. Every day, she is happy at school. When she has option to go to school vs. stay at home, she always opts to school. I am really glad we changed her to Goddard.

Everyone there truly cares about each kid. They are like a second family, which is so important when looking for someone to watch your children. I was so sad when we graduated, but I know my son is smarter and better prepared because of everyone there!

We recently moved from Maryland to Virginia and wanted to move our daughter to be in daycare near our new home. We chose the Goddard School for the stellar reputation that The Goddard School has across the area, and we have not been disappointed. Our daughter has learned a lot thanks to Goddard’s in depth curriculum and we really feel like she has developed substantially since we moved.
