Children's Lighthouse of Forney

My child's daycare experience has been wonderful. The staff is incredibly warm, welcoming, and caring. Since this was my son's first experience attending daycare, I was naturally nervous, but the team made the transition very smooth for both of us.
My son genuinely enjoys being there and is often so excited to go that he waits by the front door in the morning. The daycare does a great job planning engaging activities throughout the day, and I've noticed many educational lessons carrying over into things my son has learned at home. Watching him grow, develop new skills, and gain confidence has been exciting and rewarding. I highly recommend this daycare to any parent looking for a nurturing and enriching environment for their child.

Our daycare journey felt a little like Goldilocks.

We started at Cadence Academy. The tuition was affordable, but the overall experience wasn't quite what we were looking for. We then moved to Primrose, which offered many improvements, but the cost was difficult for us to justify.

Then we found Children's Lighthouse of Forney.

The tuition is much more reasonable than Primrose, while still providing the quality, care, and learning environment we wanted for our daughter. Most importantly, she absolutely loves it there. She is excited to go each day, enjoys her teachers and classmates, and comes home happy and full of stories about what she did.

Cadence was too little. Primrose was too much. Children's Lighthouse has been just right. We couldn't be happier with our experience.

As a current parent, I can’t recommend this preschool enough! The front office keeps communication open, and the app updates are great. I love the flexibility of coming and going as needed. My child is thrilled every day—he runs right in, eager to be there. It’s heartwarming to see him so engaged with friends and teachers. Beyond that, their curriculum is spot-on—age-appropriate and even differentiated to fit each child’s needs. The classes are carefully divided by age, and the environment is perfect for learning. I’m especially impressed that each class has three full-time teachers—above the standard two. Outdoor time is amazing, and on rainy days, they still get to enjoy the covered patio. Plus, they have a splash pad the kids love! It’s a truly nurturing and well-rounded experience.

Children’s Lighthouse has calmed my nerves. As a new mom, they have made me feel like my daughter is safe with them. They take care of her, love on her, teach her, they keep an eye on her after finding out about her seizures. These women are amazing! Thank you for what you all do!

Love the school and the staff

After school program- My non verbal autistic son loves it! No incident so far they let him be himself ( an introvert) they engage as much as needed with him, but understand his boundaries. Stuff is great.
