The Cazadero Steakhouse

So I recommend everyone go out and check out the casadero. Their food is amazing, You will not be disappointed,

Never been to a restaurant that servers bone in wings with no sauces. My choices were ranch and 1000 island and not to mention it came with french fries. The owner doesn’t even all the staff free access to the music machine. This place needs some work

The menu went from 5-6 pages of choices to 1 page. I went tonight to let my Mom experience the BEST BLT (the Double Bat) in this world to find out it's no longer on their menu. They stated they brought in a new chef and while I mean no disrespect.... please bring back the previous chef and his menu. My husbands Fish and chips were mushy, bacon burger was so so but the bacon didn't even compare to the smoked bacon previously. Fried cheddar burger on this limited menu was not an option. No Spatzle, no shrimp cocktail, no clam chowder.... very very disappointing and will not be going back. The server did everything right but why change great food to something that is less! Please go back to what it was!

We used to love this place beyond words... Went there tonight, and it was not what it used to be. the place was all but empty. Waitress was wonderful and was making the best of what she could. Flies were horrible. The menu was now a small one page menu. When we asked, it was explained they have a new chef (3rd on two to 3 months). All good is locally grown farm to table. So now there is a smaller menu. 18 total items, including appetizers. 5 entrees 4 salads , 3 burgers and fries. And some appetizers. And don't try to order a sandwich off the back brunch menu at the wrong time. That's brunch only... We ordered two burgers and a fish and chip. One burger had to be changed as they were out cheese. Bacon was tiny and didnt taste smoked. My fish and chips were soft and spoungey. I had to send them back. The waitress was again wonderful and tried to make things right. Said they...

Cazadero has significantly reduced their menu since June. They have 3 Steaks, Salmon and fish and chips for dinner items, 3 burgers, 4 Salads, and about 5 lite items, which they are calling appetizers. The service was great but we didn't stick around to eat, we went specifically for steak bites and Spatzel which is no longer on their menu. Disappointed.

Terrible food and awful service. Out of everything, slow and the food tasted awful. Everything about this place seems unprofessional.

Finally got the time to stop in today and I'm glad I did, great chill and friendly atmosphere cute robot that brings your food up in the dining area which makes you smile. Warm inviting well stocked bar. Wish I can drink a beer or two but duty always calls. One day! Great country atmosphere. My type of place!

EDIT**** ownership reached out after my initial review. They truly seem to care about what is going on and are sincerely vested in making it better. Gave it another shot and certain servers like Sarah are amazing and make it worth the trip. I would say it's definitely still a work in progress but is much improved over the last visit.

If you don't mind getting your own menus, go to the bar to get water and wait 40 minutes to get a drink, this is the place for you! Drink was ok when we finally got it. Food leaves a lot to be desired. Atmosphere is good, but the beyond terrible service really brings down the vibe.
