The Cazadero Steakhouse

I hadn't been here for years but I have always been a fan of the building and the view of the river from the rear dining area. The food is way better than in years past and the staff and regulars are delightful. A perfect place to stop for a hot meal after a hike and or camping trip farther up the river.
Don't miss the amazing train set up on your way to the restroom! The creator went to incredible lengths to recreate many of the historical pictures on the walls and also added many small "Easter eggs" to search out. 😊

Comfortable atmosphere, friendly servers, good music and absolutely delicious food every time! They have a bar section with a digital jukebox, a pool table and semi-private video poker room. The restaurant has a display case full of baked goods brought in from a local bakery and a large portion of the restaurant has a nice view of Estacada Lake which is part of the Clackamas River. They also have a rewards program that gives great discounts for food on future visits.

Waited half an hour to get our food in an empty restaurant. Food was basic not great flavor… salad wilted and drenched in dressing, steak dry AF. Asked for more water and H2O never found its way to me. Probably under staffed but not a great experience. First & last time customer.

Food was good but still disappointed. Service and atmosphere was severely lacking. We had read about the robot and wanted to see it. We called before making the hour drive and the lady told us, yes the robot was working and would serve our food so we were excited to see it .

Drove all the way out from the other side of Portland. When we went in there was no one there to greet us so just stood there. Finally see a small sign saying see bartender for service so we went over to the bar and the bartender lady was very unwelcoming and just asked "Do you need something?"

Same lady seated us and we again asked before ordering about the robot as we didn't see it and she said she would have it bring our food out.

Excitedly waited and waited, only to have same lady come out with our food, quickly drop it on our table, ask if we needed anything...

Sat by window. View of river was great. Staff very friendly. Everything came to our table very timely. Steak a little underdone but I would rather have under done than over done. Last time we came we had the burgers. They were great too.

We were a bit sad there weren't any country comfort foods. Small menu of things that are to upscale for Estacada.

Place was dead for 630pm dinner. Menu had been changed the week before. We had the entire dining room to ourselves. Guess the bar was busy?? Dining room is dated. Kids loved the food, think the fish and chicken was hand breaded. Good size potions. Got a free piece of cake for the birthday girl. Unfortunately the robot was not working when we went, reason we came. There is a cool train set when you walk in. Push the red button to watch the train drive around Estacada.
