The Cazadero Steakhouse

Service was excellent, food is not.

First and last time visiting. The atmosphere was equivalent to a dive bar. The table was sticky and dirty. Only one person was working, and the place was mostly empty. The burger is made from frozen meat and bland. They advertise it as a steakhouse and only serve two different types of steak. I would not eat there even if the food was free.

Service was slow. There was only 1 other dining party there when we arrived. And we were asked if we had a reservation? Odd. We asked if we needed one. And the bartender said, " No, not really, I can take care of you" she was a very nice lady though. Just weird and slow service otherwise.

Great staff and atmosphere, love the local memorabilia and miniature old town replica.

Food was good had an elk burger and frys wife had chicken strips. Pretty small portion for the price. My kid had a cheese burger and frys. Had some cake for dessert. Over all everything was good. Seems understaffed. One person to work the bar with a dozen people and the restaurant side with 4 tables was a bit much to handle. Not that she didn't do a good job. Just hustled to do the job. Even having a helper would make a difference. Restaurant seemed shut down and uninviting. Great view.
