Julio is a master barber, and I mean MASTER barber. He only hires skilled barbers, so you’ll be getting a good cut. However, good cuts come at a cost.

This is the second time I have gotten my hair cut at temple of groom and while the first time was everything I could have hoped for and more, this time left a lot to be desired. The haircut I received was absolutely PHENOMENAL and exactly what I wanted but the beard trim was pretty disappointing. My beard is uneven with one side being longer than the other, there’s a slight chunk missing on the right side, and my neck was completely chewed up from the straight razor.

I would be more than willing to come back for another haircut but I don’t plan on getting my beard trimmed here again

Came a few months ago and was treated extremely poorly by the barber. Sensed a hint of racism from them as they treated me extremely different from the previous client, scolding me and even getting angry when I asked for suggestions. Would not recommend if you're a person of color.

10:30 am this morning. My very first haircut with Julio. This shop is amazing. So beautifully decorated. I felt like I was in a Palace. The barber chairs are all original from the 1800’s I believe he said. Beautifully restored. Red velvet and gold touches really make this place stand out from any other barber shop in Boston. Julio has a great cutting style he really knows what he is doing. I had an amazing haircut at a competitive price. I will most certainly be back. This is my new home for haircuts. The hot towel at the end is a real treat. Felt so nice. Thanks Julio. Best haircut I have had in a very long time.
