I’ve been getting my haircut with Art for about a year and a half now. I have slightly difficult hair to work with but he is able to work around that. He always pays attention to detail and delivers a high quality cut. He is good at translating what you say and what you show in pictures to your hair. I also appreciate how you can get an undergraduate student haircut for a good discount from this place.

Worst experience I have ever had getting a haircut, if you want a skin taper fade and a no. 2 on the top yes this is your place but if you want a real haircut and style do not come here. What I showed as a reference photo was not was I got, it was rushed and little attention to detail. The hot towel shave was even worse than the haircut, there was no lathered shaving cream AND NO WATER, the razor itself felt like it was 3 bucks from dollar tree and used (I understand its a different method of shaving but I have researched this method as well as I DO IT MYSELF AND HAVE DONE IT BETTER THAN I GOT) my dresser was aggressive with the razor and left my skin totally irritated. There was a point in which I almost told him to stop and Id finish it myself. This was supposed to be a "luxury" experience and for the price that this is was a total rip off.

Needed a beard trim and clean up around the neck. Ruben treated my hair like art and made me look way better than when I walked in. Wish I had time to do a full cut. Will only go here when I’m back in town next time
