I went in with terrible back pain and really like the way Dr. Mintz does adjustments without my feeling like I have to "brace" myself. He assesses the area visually then performed a couple of minor adjustments in areas that were not hurting but that he determined were going to be problematic for me due to compensation from the area that did have pain. He was right. I'd been walking, sitting and standing oddly trying to not disturb the affected area in pain. Within a day the pain had lessened and by day 4 I was completely pain-free. Very knowledgeable, gentle, informative and affordable. He not only explains what he sees, is about to do, what he did and what I need to do on my own but he takes my insurance!

Dr. Mintz is extremely caring and sensitive to the needs of kids who have atypical neurological issues like ODD, ADHD, Anxiety and depression. He has done extensive study and training in neurofeedback and the potential for brain training to change clinical symptoms of those above neurological challenges. He is able to explain the science behind it to the parents and kids. Dr. Mintz engaged my son in a developmentally appropriate and sensitive manner. We have been visiting Dr. Mintz on a regular basis for 3 months so my son Joe could participate in Brain Core Therapy. Dr. Mintz is well educated and very passionate about giving families an alternative to medication for ADD and anxiety. We appreciate his professionalism, patience and most of all his ability to relate very well to teen agers (as well as children and adults) who have a difficult time trusting and communicating with others. Joe really likes Dr. Eric and listens to all the advice given to him so he can keep his mind and body healthy.
