Storybooks School has a great atmosphere and the entire staff are very professional I would definitely recommend everyone that has children to at least stop by and check this place out you won't be disappointed

We recently moved to the area and came across this daycare by searching on the Texas Health and Human Services. We came in for a tour and for more information about this daycare, but the Director of Storybooks School was very unprofessional and was trying to speak to us like we were children. She had us sitting in the lobby area waiting on her to do absolutely nothing that important before answering our questions. I noticed the employees were very sweet when we spoke to them; however, the director needs to learn how to conduct interviews better (even though I know she may be an older lady but that does not excuse her behavior). We also noticed walking in that there was no locked doors or buzz in system, something that we prefer. No shade to them, but it gave me an ick as soon as I spoke to the director.

My kids had a great experience at this school for a total of about 6 years between the two. Both progressed well and learned a lot. My son was reading early and the school gets a lot of the credit for that.

We have been a part of the Storybooks family for about 8 years now and it has been the best place for our children. The staff is nurturing, attentive, and create a welcoming environment. Our kids have learned so much and always leave excited to share stories about their day. Our son is finishing 2nd grade and is one of the top readers in his class, which I know is from the foundational reading skills he left with. Our daughter is about to graduate and I know will be successful in kinder and beyond as well! We're grateful for the peace of mind knowing our children had/ have a safe place to learn and play while we are at work. We will miss our Storybooks family, that’s for sure!

I wouldn’t send my child here even if it’s the last opening available in the city.
The mom sandy and daughter are very unprofessional. Expect to called at any inconvenience (being “Too silly.” per the owner, any she wants perfect children) especially if you work a 9 to 5….
They don’t document accidents that occur. They have no cameras.. Even after you ask for documentation of an incident.
I would rather pay to have my child a Kindercare facility rather than a mom and pop daycare. Worst experience ever.

The staff is ridiculous. My granddaughter was told she wasn’t able to come back because of biting incident. Now my grandson because they say after 7 months of being great he is now uncontrollable. Now they did want to speak to his father for whatever reason and not my granddaughter in law. Then they were questioned about being able to afford the daycare. I assure you my son has no issues with payment. When we ask my grandson what happened he says he doesn’t want to talk about it. Parents beware and look into these daycares, that happen to have no video. I would not recommend this daycare at all.

My son has been going here since he was 3 months and has had nothing but an amazing experience! Ms. Virginia, Ms. Yvette and Ms. Ashley were caring, sweet and wonderful. He has learned so much from them! Truly incredible. It’s so hard to find people who are caring and loving to your children, but I never had anything to worry about while he was there. He is moving into the next age group and we are heartbroken that he will not be with them everyday. Thank you for everything ladies!

My daughter attended this school from 5 months old -18 months old. We loved her teachers dearly - specifically feel the need to call out Mrs. Virginia and Ms. Yvette in the Mother's Care House - they are truly amazing and my daughter loved them very much! There's a couple things that I wish Storybooks would change - one being security. I wish it was a little more secure and would require some type of buzz in system in order to allow entry. I feel like that's important during these times we live in. Safety is the most important thing for our children. The second thing I wish they would update is transition to an app based system like many other schools do where you can see updates with photos and videos of your child's activities, meals, diapers throughout the day. The technology is available so would be cool if Storybooks utilized it. I think if they would have implemented...
